Ahead of the hunger protest scheduled to begin on Thursday, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has mocked organisers to go ahead with the demonstration while they watch on eating. Akpabio made this disclosure on Tuesday while addressing delegates of the Niger Delta Development Commission in Rivers State. The Senate President, who seems displeased with the planned protest, said the Niger-Delta people are not ready for a regime change while referencing the statement of the MD of the commission. “All of us feel the impact of what is happening now. But we are aware it will be for a short while. MD, I want to thank you for what you said. You said we are not interested in regime change; let us own this government. Lol! This man is what again! An animal acting on instincts or a human being with developed intelligence?. We can see the species of animals we have in government with our eyes wide open. Imagine the nonsense a man who claims to be "sane" and a " human being" is saying. That's why I love East and Southern Africans. They won't tolerate such an animalistic statement from a political office holder. This animal should not be given a second term in the Senate definitely. Nigerians are the most cowardly set of Africans in existence. If it were to be in East Africa or Southern Africa, this human animal,Akpabio would be directly attacked physically while in seat at office by a raging mob who would overwhelm the security details. Or it would be attacked on the road or right in his home. |

Chinkoalhaji34:One of the conditions to shelve the protest the protest is for lawmakers to be paid minimum wage. Pay Akpabio 70k by end of August and see keep quiet. Infact, he will be the one to lead the protest. 4 Likes |

Nigerians don suffer. When will our leaders take us serious? Instead of addressing the issues, na mockery dem dey serve us. Akpabio should go and enjoy his meal in peace while the rest of us dey hustle. Naija, we need better representation, not this kind mockery. 3 Likes |
