With this rejection of evil of Tinubu's regime, the Nigerian masses has strongly rejected every Tinubu's APC manifesto and leadership. Nigerians no longer believe in this administration's much touted capability to solving Nigeria problem.
Mass hunger, Insecurity, Corruption, State capture and many negative events has dominated the news since the emergence of this administration.
The people are fed up and want an end to all manifestation of bad governance and in effect, the end of Tinubu's infamous presidency.

But the same Nigerians did not vote Sowore who vowed not to remove subsidy.

He did not even score up to 50,000 votes.

Instead, about 22 million Nigerians voted for Tunubu, Atiku, and Obi. All the top 3 candidates vowed to remove subsidy.

They love to hallucinate.

Even the deadly and anarchy ridden EndSARS protest did not remove any hair from Buhari's body, not to talk of removing him from office.

Inec voted for tinubu that is why we are in this mess.

PETER OBI and Atiku would handled the subsidy removal differently with positive results not this confusing called government.

They would have handled it differently by building refineries in the country?
U foIks Iike taIkiñg sh*t aIot Iike Obi and Atiku have never been in govt before.
Obi hiked tuition fees which led to mass protest in Anambra and he replied with "Education is not for the poor", but he will handle subsidy differently.

Tinubu has bad advisors.

A president should have come out before the protest to calm the storm..

Government have gone on overdrive using propagada, lies and scare tactics to cancel, douse the moral, and intimidate Nigerians against their lawful right to protest. It's even worse on Nairaland as pro-govt paid-agents infiltrated any thread to amplify such thread and peddle various trope against protest, often times ridiculing us and the suffering of Nigerians. It's a shame and I believe it should fuel our anger to protest the more.
The mildest of govt tactics is to hypnotise and reinforce into the psyche of Nigerians that protest equals violence and death just to discourage us . Bu Historically Govt is usually the cause of all violent protests in Nigeria.
.
The truth of the matter is, protest by its nature can not always be curtailed or predicted. What determines if a protest will be peaceful is the anger or the gravity of issues that fueled the protest in the first place especially if government is willfully oppressing and causing suffering. Also, Fuelling most violent protest is govts callousness to shoot at protesters. If police shoots at protesters, then there's no more rule of engagement or civility. That becomes a free for all as primal emotion against injustice will take over

Violent protest is bottled up anger against insensitivity or callousness of govt as well as perceived injustice, oppression and resistance of govt.....in such scenario, u cant tell a protester how he expresses that anger.
.
If protest has to be violent especially by destroying govt property, so be it, if it will get the needed attention. It took govt institutions to be burnt down in Kenya before their govt took them serious.
So Nigerians shouldn't play into govt book that protest should be cordoned off in a venue , that it shouldn't involve blocking of roads, or vandalizing govt property. This is the rule of protest everywhere in the world when people protest against suffering and oppression. Otherwise govt will never take us serious.
.
The efficacy of protest is unfortunately directly dependent on how much it cripples the economy and how much collateral damage a govt fears it will lose on its institutions and property..... otherwise...na rally una dey do o.....

Tinubu's regime is just another bunch of opportunists pretending to care. Credibility is long gone; all they do is steal from the masses while making empty promises. Protests won’t change anything, just a distraction from their failures.
Re: Protest: Tinubu's Regime Has Officially Lost Credibility. by Salewa97: 2:26pm On Aug 01, 2024
If na so e be, then we don enter serious wahala.

How many times we go protest before dem go hear us? E be like say Tinubu no go fit handle this matter well.

People dey vex but at the end of the day, who go pay for all this unrest? Na ordinary man wey dey hustle for street go suffer am pass.

If dem no fit manage our expectations, then we fit just dey waste our time. Make we just dey shine our eyes and focus on how to survive, because this protest matter fit turn another thing entirely.

Naija politics no get respect for anybody.

Did they also vow to remove subsidy from inauguration ground without due consultations and without adequate clear cut cushion plans?

On his own verified twitter page, he reposted what he said at the Channels TV event in Abuja.

If you want the video, it is on YouTube.

Obi said he will not let it stay for 1day.

January 2023.

Just 1 month before presidential election in February.
