Lionessza6:.....at they still had the gut to feature players of African origin and Rishi Sunak has made history as the first Asian to govern Britain, in our own climes you cannot even be a local government chairman if you are not from the locality. Look at the iya oloja of Ladipo market, a Yoruba woman lording over the majority of shop owners who are ibos. |

SEGLIZ:LMFAO. Whatever you think, that's on you...but we would never allow you to hijack our heritage under the guise of one Africa . Go try that with Congolese or something....we are wide awake here and we know what "African jews " are all about . Soon they'll be claiming they developed Soweto for us . Cheap emotional blackmail and snide remarks on us will not work . |

Lionessza6:do I accuse south africans of xenophobic? NO! (even if it hurts to see it in reality). I know where south africans are been, what they've been through and where they are coming from. it will be difficult to want to lose ones identity a second time but the chest beaters kins and clans men we have in Nigeria, that doesn't represent us just a pocket of misfit in our social system. this are a bunch of kids are drumming the same drum there fathers are struggling to discard. it goes deep, for a people that only heard stories to want to keep dwelling in the past. I know south african than you know Nigeria. I hold nothing against you guys even you see Nigeria and Nigerians from a wrong perspective, no thanks to our developers brothers. ![]() |

Lionessza6:Wow, you seem to know a lot about Nigerian inner tribal inner workings , Obidients would soon descent on you and call you a Yoruba Muslim Agbadorian. |

SEGLIZ:You are an apologist my dear young man. What is going on regarding that young lady is xenophobia and afrophobia at the highest level. The lady in question is a South African citizen according to citizenship laws of the country. Whether she is of Zulu extract, Mozambican heritage or Nigerian blood, BY LAW she qualifies to be in that contest regardless. If the pageant wants to restrict people of descent other than the major groups in SA then they should create such laws otherwise they know it will be discriminatory. What you are seeing being demonstrated by most south africans is a shift to tribal and nationalist sentiments because of the influx of foreign nationals into the country. A fear of loosing their indentity and "first place" in society i.e. a replacement theory being peddled. What must be understood in this context is that the constitution of South Africa is one of the most liberal and thus creates a conundrum between citizenship rights and human rights. Therefore the law and not sentiment, must take precedence in this matter otherwise you will have bigotry, tribalism and xenophobia be the other of the day. The law says she is a South African citizen by descent as a result of her mother's citizenship and not "ethnicity" therefore she qualifies to particiapate in the pageant. Shikena! |

Lionessza6:No one is hijacking your heritage you xenophobe. You are simply afraid of a replacement theory being peddled in your shebeens. There are approximately 60 million South africans with roughly 50 million of accounting for black south africans from the major ethnic groups. i will be generous and allow for a total of 6 million foreigners both legal and illegal that reside with your borders. It would be mathematically impossible for them to outbreed you in the next 100 years if your birth rates remain the same so frankly improbable that your ethnic groups would be significantly dilluted. What you would see is a more cosmopolitan group of people in your major cities being of mixed heritage because this is where a majority of immigrants of all classess reside but in your inner most areas there will still be a majority of your ethnic groups who will continue to make up the society. STOP FEAR MONGERING XENOPHOBE! By law Chidinma is SOuth African just as by law the mixed heritage player Ashleigh Plumptre who plays for the super falcons is Nigerian. If you don' t like advocate to change the laws. |

briandermot:They know them 100% by names and physical features. Almost every country even know. She's Yoruba? Why bearing Igbo names, go to an Igbo group and started displaying Igbo culture? She's another prodigal Chinedu of Lagos. See them hiding behind other tribes' names online now, only for giveaway to expose their identities. Even here on NL.

Murketeer:NO you are a tribalist bigot and I weep for my country that people like you who are stuck on primordial sentiments continue to bring keep my country in perpetual backwardness. The day your kind become extinct the better the world will be. In this day and age with all the science that exists in the world which shows that most Nigerians of southern extract are virtually the same human beings, you still peddled ethnic vulgarities . This is why South Africans can come on here and have the bravado to talk nonsense on here. Olodo! |

African need divine intervention. Do the whites like immigrants in their country, No. But the government don't get rid of most of them because of what they can offer in terms of growth, talent and gdp. While in Africa we are happy stereotyping each other. All I can say is when majority of people don't like you, it shows that there is something special in you, you are yet to show. Let Nigerians come home and rebuild bit by bit. |

I just wanted to take a moment to express how delighted I am with the content the admin has shared here. Before my birthday, I was looking for something new and exciting to gift myself, and a friend introduced me to SEV Laser. I decided to book a session for Laser Hair Removal in Austin, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The glowing reviews and positive comments from others here truly encouraged me to try it out. Thank you for creating such an informative and supportive community! |
