Tension In Daura As Protesters Troop To Buhari’s Residence, Emir’s Palace by SATANICALLY(op):
Angry protesters trooped to the residence of ex-President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, his hometown in Katsina State, on Thursday.

The protesters, in their numbers, joined the #EndBadGovernance nationwide demonstration.

The protest turned violent in some states, leading to deaths and forcing at least three governors to declare curfew.

The mob which attempted to break into the residence of the former number one citizen said they were fed up with the economic situation of the country.

“They set up bonfire in front of the former President’s house and were chanting loudly,” a witness told Daily Trust via telephone on Thursday.

In a video reviewed by Daily Trust, young persons were seen shouting on top of their voices.

“Bama yi! Bama yi! Bama yi!,” the crowd chorused in Hausa.

The term, which literarily translates as “we don’t want”, is usually used as a form of disapproval during protests.

It took the intervention of an unidentified person who came out of Buhari’s residence to address the angry youths.

The person, according to the witness, asked the mob to select one person to speak, while he would be recorded and the video shown to the Nigerian leader.

After this, the angry youths reportedly headed for the palace of the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Farouk Umar Farouk.

One of them was reportedly shot on the leg by security operatives who were trying to disperse them but the protesters refused to back down.

According to a resident of Daura, who wouldn’t want his name mentioned, “I was at my place of work organising speech and prize event for our students when the protest began. I was briefed about what happened. I learnt that the protesters took to the residences of former President Muhammadu Buhari, the Emir of Daura and Magajin Garin Daura.

“While returning home from my place of work, I moved through the residence of Alhaji Musa Uba, the Magajin Gari, a senior traditional title holder in Emirate, and can confirm that some minor damages had been done there. He was reportedly against the protest and that could be the reason the protesters attacked his house. They threw stones at the house but the situation was contained by security operatives. The palace of the Emir is being guarded by the army and police. As we speak, Daura is calm.”

Buhari’s house was occupied by Protesters in Daura.

The only road linking Mai’adua-Daura and Katsina was blocked as youth expressed dissatisfaction with the government.

Let's not forget that...

Tinubu knew Buhari was a disaster, but still went ahead to package him as messiah for Nigerians, just because of his selfish emilokan ambition.

He and his cohorts protested against GEJ even when things were far better than they are now, and eventually Buhari took over.

Now Tinubu that boasted he will hit the ground running, has been running like a mad man for over one year now with nothing to show for it except increased hunger and suffering to Nigerians.

And yet same agbado miscreants who praised Buhari to high heavens during his 8yrs of disaster, now say Tinubu should be given more time to finish this corn3 patapata.

“Until we separate looters from hardworking Nigerians, the next generation of youths will think that looting is a career.” - Buhari

"One year after he left; he disappeared back into oblivion like he did after he was ousted by IBB. He won’t lead any regional or continental efforts towards better elections, & in deepening democracy. He doesn’t inspire anyone; he remained ineffectual & aloof (in & out of office).

Since Buhari left office, he has holed up himself in Daura. Neither ECOWAS nor AU have found him worthy for any international assignment including the simple task of monitoring elections in Senegal or elsewhere.A truly unfortunate character who had no business running a Local government not to talk of a country. Buhari was just unintelligent, colorless, with a wicked touch of nepotism, incompetence, & unholy corruption. A hound that attacked the very essence of your livelihoods.

In contrast, take a look at Goodluck Jonathan, as weak as he was presumed. He is still going around the globe, making impacts,Today they now invite Jonathan for govt functions, the same Jonathan they carried his mock coffin, just because they wanted power they got the power but they can’t fulfill their promises to the people. Look at Obasanjo, years after, still going to Nations, making impact, the man that called some people DOT in a circle has returned to a DOT, totally forgotten

If there was anything worst than ineffectual, he would have made the cut. He couldn't even inspire himself. Everywhere he went, he left the stench of poverty, hopelessness, despair, & regrets.Today, only two people hype him. They do so not because of any type of real achievements, but sycophancy; the type that defies every sense of obligation.

He was the representative of a Nigeria that cried for help. The proof that popularity is not at par with capacity. How will you run a country for 8 years & no one will invite you to give a lecture, nor deliver a "one-line" keynote address? In the life of me, I am yet to see a man as insignificant as this one.

My prayer is that someday, somehow, Nigerians will recover from the torture & the trauma. An unfortunate event in your annals of History; both as a military head of state, & a civilian ruler. Like in all Forms of Rule, there is decline & plenty. But he took Nigeria to a place less than obscurity, & left many in multidimensional poverty. He offered no apologies, & blamed others but himself.

In fact, he warned that “under no circumstances should anyone invite him to render an account of his misrule.” I doubt if anyone calls him for a naming ceremony. Very insignificant thus far; no impact, no legacy. A colorless personality, he won't even write a memoir of himself.

The fact that they can toy with your lives, & get away with it, is the most depressing. Such a privilege don't exist in other climes. And this is only a glimpse of how ineffectual & aloof he was. How do you hate your country so much?

One could argue that some people used him to get to power, for their own selfish use. Having achieved their aim, they let him slide back into oblivion (to enjoy the rest of his misspent obscure life). A calamity that befell a people. A plague that defied every logic. History will remain unkind to him.

Anyone who studies accounting is typically well-versed in resource management, so it is puzzling that President Tinubu's resource management skills seem to be lacking. It raises questions about the legitimacy of his qualifications, prompting speculation that he may have forged his certificate.

Tinubu should come and show us how much he has saved this year. If a whole UK is cutting down on expenses. Tinubu is buying boats, planes and cars and telling us to suffer to gain what exactly?
This are important questions we need to ask ourselves. We have seen the plane that you used out hospitals and schools budget to buy.

Buhari is a northerner, they see him as their own and brother. Tinubu on the other hand is not seen as their own even when he shares same religion as them.
