Police is trained to investigate and prosecute corrupt people, protect citizens from kidnappers, religious insurgents, armed herdsmen, drug traffickers, etc.

But Nigeria police failed to protect the citizens against the above vices. Citizens got angry and protest. Police turn guns and shoot against the citizens. A most primitive police can shoot at unarmed citizens in protest.

This protests really began successfully than Endsars 2020. This has been my fear. It started massively better than Endsars in 2020 and that time of Endsars, the government of Buhari refused to addressed the situation until it boomerang. That's exactly what Tinubu is doing today, I wish someone could tell him to address the youth today unfailingly because the more you ignore and allowed the youths to gather more and more everyday. They would overwhelm the security just like Endsars and that would be a chaos.....

You people should not introduce objectives that would create division and make the protests lose focus.

The objectives of the protests are to draw government's attention to the challenges faced by the masses, such as insecurity, increase in cost of living, reduced purchasing power.

There are constitutional ways to remove a sitting president and a protest is certainly not one of them.
