Some of you can be quite irritating with your obvious lack of common sense. Was it Akpabio that foolishly slurred, "subzidi iz gone" on inauguration day, and speedily followed it up with devaluation of Naira? Is it not obvious to everyone, including very stupid people, that THAT is the immediate source of the economic problems, inflation and hunger that ordinary Nigerians have suffered over the past one year? 5 Likes |

I am watching Channel News and totally love the question raised by the news anchor 1. Do people have a reason to protest ? Yes. 2. Is their anger justified? Yes 3. Do people have the rights to protest under the constitution? YES 4. Is there a possibility for a peaceful protest to be hijacked? YES. 5. Has the president come live to address the protests as someone who cares? No Now because there is a possibility of number 4 does not negate the rights of the citizens to a peaceful protests, it only places a bigger responsibility on the police and security angencies not to allow a peaceful protest degenerates. |
