That was why Lagos was peaceful, the #igbomustgo on twitter sent fear and anxieties into the spine and marrow of problematic people we accommodate but want to destroy our land. in fact, they didn't hide it, they came out plain with their plans

The protest should continue
And will it change the price of commodities in the markets?

Inasmuch protest is a way of expressing ourselves to the government. Further continuation of the protest will cripple the already falling economy.
Re: Protest: Lagos Tradefair Complex Traders Lock Shops (Video) by CHIOMAEZEH: 9:01am On Aug 02, 2024
They should also be on guard before the looters try to break into their shops

This current protests is an eye opener.

I will never ever bash an Igbo person in my life again.

We Yorubas always claim to be smart but it's now very obvious we are not as wise/smart as we think.

The peace in the Southeast we so much malign and the calmness all around Alaba, Tradefair, Ladipo, Doyin, Balogun, etc. shows that our Eastern brothers are the real sophisticated people.

Shame even dey catch me as I type this cry

Do you actually live in Yoruba land? Do the Yorubas around you always bash the igbos? I'm asking you because these tribalism actually starts and ends on the Internet and not in the streets, except with the agberos. So stop joining others on the Internet to generalize tribes. Yorubas here cohabit perfectly with the igbos, except the less than 1% agberos here.

Over 93% of the people asking for C of O in Lagos are Yorubas. we know you. let John : 44 tell us who you are
John 8 vs 44: You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Oga, there is nothing you can do. What is worse than the pogrom of 1966 and the civil war that led to 3 million deaths?
Anyway, the tribalism of Yorubas against Igbos no pass the agberos on the street and internet warriors like yourself.

Well, I am Yoruba. Not in West for some years now. My tenants back home are Igbos and my subordinates at work are mainly Igbos. I've lived and worked with them for years.

Truth is we all live harmoniously offline but what each one of us does online betrays our offline pretence.

The people bashing each another on both divides are not ghosts. They are the same everyday people we interact with.

My only conclusion is that we pretend to ourselves a lot. I just wonder how things degenerated badly to this level. The last election really did us dirty and it's so sad.

Re: Protest: Lagos Tradefair Complex Traders Lock Shops (Video) by alabler: 9:15am On Aug 02, 2024
The Igbo’s think they are smart! They ignited this anti-Tinubu protest under the pretence of hardship protest online, after it has gained momentum on/offline, they left it to their useful idiots(In Israel’s Netanyahu word’s)in the SouthWest, North & SS to carry on self-destruct!
Re: Protest: Lagos Tradefair Complex Traders Lock Shops (Video) by Akaegwu(m): 9:15am On Aug 02, 2024
When you have lazy and hungry neighbors. We closed our shops because of lazy neighbours that wanted to use the protest as excuse to loot. They are called Omoniles. God for nothing.
