Although about 12 people died during Occupy Nigeria 2012 so one expects such to happen now too
it's unfortunate that some citizens have to lose their lives probably as a result of unprofessional manner our security outfit handles protesters.
my take is that our leaders are no longer hiding their nonchallantce and indifference to the plight of the people
our leaders have shown that its all about how good you are at selling lies to the people, no one has a genuine desire to help the people they lead, this is so sad

We told them protest is not the best thing at this time, some embittered elements that want to destroy Niger are at a corner to cause commotion, their bitter grievingory Obi was disgraceful defeated and crushed, I also like how Southwest leaders rose to the occasion so that those despicable miscreants that used the endsars to destroy yoruba properties to do so again in Lagos state. God bless Lagospedia.
So killing the northerners is now the way forward for this yeruba government.

↪ If you have not witnessed a mob in the north, then it's safe not to judge.have you witnessed riots and protests in the north? You will feel pity for policer officers. I will not say much.but any of these officers that gunned down someone in typical northern state, knew his life was at stake.
This is not hearsay,I am a firsthand witness to a protest in the north
Stop spinning tales! undecided

There are videos of protestors being shot at by policemen, and not of policemen being mobbed as you claim! There are many of them online for you to watch if you have no clue what in the world you are talking about. So, I suggest you go spend your day watching them before coming back to comment. undecided

An avoidable crisis if govt was willing to genuinely address some of the concerns raised by the citizenry, but alas they resorted to threats intimidation and sadly mockery of the people they claimed they rigged elections to serve.

Until we are able to really elect our representatives we will continually be misrepresented.

I am talking of this particular protest.

I am asking you not to judge, especially in northern states as I have realised this people can be barbaric and less civil in their protests .

People went out to protest yesterday(yes, some may have gone out to find something to steal so that they can feed too), but were murdered by your government. undecided

The last time your government did that, it was indicted(formerly charged with a serious crime). Yes, Nigeria was convicted of murdering the EndSars youths who went out to protest back in 2020. undecided

Stop lying! undecided

By the way, did you know that under no circumstances — even if caught looting or destroying properties— are law enforcement agents expected to kill suspects? You coming here to try to justify the killing of Nigerian citizens by spinning nonsense tales of mob action speaks volumes of how much worth you place on the life of others; I bet that if your child had been among the dead, you wouldn't be here confusing fables for reality. undecided

17 northerner killed is not a suprised
Anyone that has been in the north and have experienced a protest ,that person won't be able to differentiate btw a riot or a protest

Only in North or Kano from my experience that protests usually involves gora knife ,swords, and with the mindset of looting of shop and business.

That is what I am saying, people like kobojunkieee are arguing. I have had a close brush with death on account of passing scenes of protests and agitation in the north. I was born and bred in a northern state. Police alone can't handle them when they start, most times militaries are involved. For that reason,I had to quit my education and start afresh after 3 years already gone just to leave there. Kobojunkieee can easily talk because she is abroad, and she doesn't know what happen in northern states. People that are ready to kill and die

You're protesting against hunger, but you're stealing from your fellow man that is also affected by the situation of the country...

Protesters are just pure opportunist, & bunch of lazy people. Their intention is to steal and make their fellow citizen suffer, people died due to how they were wrecked them during endsars, some people's shop are still closed till date and you're looking for another avenue to steal people's sweat.

God will punish anyone indulge in looting and stealing, you will never know peace...

Aunty never know what's up . Northerners will go to a protest without arms?
Obviously you are speaking from diaspora or have not been in a northern state.

Just go through what you just posted. If not that Abacha stole the money meant for your education, you would have understood perfectly that all you just said made no sense. Between hatred and bitterness for Peter Obi and your senselessness, I don't know which of them prevails.
Listen to yourself again. Oloriburuku!!

All the lootings and the killings are all happening in the North why? Because an average Northern man is a lazy fool. Always sitting down and waiting for free things. That's why they only engage in businesses that brings them immediate gain. No future reasoning whatsoever. Shoemaker, Mairuwa, Okada, Maisuya, Maishayi, begging, etc. Idiots!

Your hatred towards Obi and by extension the Igbos is epic. Even when it is well known that the Igbos did plan the protest, neither had an interest in participating in the protest yet you kept displaying your hatred publicly. Judging by your moniker, one can deduce that what kept you awake at night is Obi matters.
