What is this assumption of yours based on? Do you think it is only Igbos that live in the South East or something? Or that only those of Igbo descent who live in the South East understand the local politics? Tell me exactly what it is based on cause I finally wish to understand the way a lot of you think you can reason these things.

You can't understand Southeast local politics from the internet no matter how hard you try, you will only get fake and disjointed information. The real news from the Southeast is from local private radios and audience participatory programmes.

Why should it be the entire South East before people can react to it when all that was needed, after all the fear-mongering from the South Eastern politicians, was just a spark to cause people across the place to scamper in fear? I know people who live in those areas who cited what happened down in Imo as reasons to thread cautiously during the protest period. Even people here called to warn their relatives across the southeast after news of gunshots in Owerri. Or do you think the South East is somehow closed off to the world or something?

Spare me abeg! South Easterners have been seen protesting in all parts of the country since yesterday. There are numerous video evidence to show that all South Easterners do not agree with your point of view there. Videos are plenty of South Easterners in other regions of Nigeria protesting freely and speaking out against the suffering of all.
