We will protest but on the 10th day. For now you have a our prayers. |
| Re: Closed by Philipponzaghi: 2:05pm On Aug 02, 2024 |
Igbos always know how to talk the talk but rarely walk the walk. It’s like they enjoy the sound of their own voices more than actual action. If only the energy spent on discussions was used for real protests, maybe we would see some change. But nah, it’s all just noise at the end of the day. |

Philipponzaghi:Yes, you are right. Just as you are walking the talk and bringing big changes by jumping around threads on Nairaland. Congrats, you have built a great country without Igbo contributions. |
| Re: Closed by trutharena: 4:39pm On Aug 02, 2024 |
Mteeeew, they are just masters of confusion. Always supporting from the sidelines while the real issues pass them by. Where's their courage when it matters? Just a bunch of noise-makers. |

| Re: Closed by Kobojunkieee: 9:15pm On Aug 02, 2024 |
Welcum:Nonsense! That same paranoid attitude did not stop Igbos living outside of the South East from rising up to protest all through yesterday and today but somehow it is enough of a reason for why the Igbos living comfortably in the South East chose not to protest. Rubbish! Look, at these many lies you feed yourselves do not help you or anyone else in that country called Nigeria. The moment you all begin to tell yourselves the truth is the moment you will be able to break away from the cage you continue to build around yourselves as a people and a nation. The same applies as far as every other tribe in Nigeria as it is since you all seem to be comfortably wallowing in all of your the many lies you have created around yourselves. ![]() |

Truth be told, the term igbo in 1960 referred to people who are born igbos , some few years ago in the 80s , 90s ,00s ,10s an igbo was a person that is neither yoruba or hausa. Today 2020s an igbo can be defined as a fair skinned or polished individual or enlightened person from any part of Nigeria. I will personally define igbo as any black individual from Africa and elsewhere who has evolved from the typical mold of a black homo sapien to a more advanced black being with enhanced DNA, thinking faculty, mental capacity, etc. If there's ever any hope for the black race , it is the black that fall into that category that will save the black race. It is not without reason that igbos are hated, stereotyped and set up for genocide at the slightest opportunity . |
| Re: Closed by Chinkoalhaji34: 9:38pm On Aug 02, 2024 |
Igbos always want to be on the safe side. They’ll support the noise but shy away when it’s time to face the music. It's easy to cheer from the sidelines, but real change requires sacrifice, not just claps. |
| Re: Closed by Amucha: 9:40pm On Aug 02, 2024 |
Kobojunkieee:Are other tribes not living in the South East? They too can start the protest in the South East |
| Re: Closed by Kobojunkieee: 9:43pm On Aug 02, 2024 |
Amucha:How can they do that with your Government right there in the South East and Simon-Expa both threatening the lives of all those living in the region? Are their guns turned against only those of Igbo descent in the south East? ![]() |

When did Ronus become spokesmen of northerners? |
| Re: Closed by Salewa97: 9:57pm On Aug 02, 2024 |
Na wa o. Igbos always have their mouth wide open for protest but when it’s time to show face, they go hide like rat. |
| Re: Closed by Welcum(op): 11:28am On Aug 03, 2024 |
Salewa97:If they come out, you say they destroyed your blokos, sorry Lagos. If they don't come out, you start looking for another thing to say, just like this. All these things you do prove that you're failures who are only living out your deep-seated envy mania. |
| Re: Closed by Welcum(op): 11:33am On Aug 03, 2024 |
Kobojunkieee:Did you protest? And what positive change has your street noise-making brought? This is the time for real people to go inside and think up solutions, not jumping around to make empty noise and engage in wanton destruction like value-deficient low-living Africans that they are. |
| Re: Closed by Welcum(op): 11:36am On Aug 03, 2024 |
Kobojunkieee:There aren't more guns turned at people in SE than in your BokoHaramBandit-ravaged North where the protest is most popular. So, your argument has no wings to fly. |
| Re: Closed by Kobojunkieee: 2:48am On Aug 04, 2024*. Modified: 3:51am On Aug 04, 2024 |
Welcum:Guns that ransack and are in many cases perceived as killing villages indiscriminately in the Southeast, you wish for me to compare to guns in the North that have on several occasions been noted to have bailed merely at word that BokoHaram was in the area? Are you and those who reason like you trying to mess with me or something? ![]() |
| Re: Closed by Kobojunkieee: 2:52am On Aug 04, 2024 |
Welcum:Well, according to my uncle who lives in the South East, they have been barred from roaming outdoors for over 4 years now. How has that exercise of going inside to think up solutions helped any of those in the South East? Prescribing a solution that has yielded nothing even after 4 whole years... a combined one year of inaction .... where does that take you? ![]() |
| Re: Closed by dometome: 3:22am On Aug 04, 2024 |
Chinkoalhaji34:you are an 1diot. Why we warned you not to vote Tinubu, you called us losers right? Ok! Now he is eating deep into your pockets and bank accounts, and you expect us that shouted from the rooftops about how bad Tinubu is for everyone, to join you in protesting what you people brought into all of us. We already knew he was bad market and got prepared for it. It is not as if we are enjoying it, but we knew where he would take the useless country called Nigeria. So leave us out of your stupidity. You have made your beds, so shall you lie on it. |
| Re: Closed by Difrent: 3:34am On Aug 04, 2024 |
kettykin:But if you want to do that , you will have to step on other people who equally have same aspirations leading to clashes of interest like the situation you find yourself in Nigeria. Azikwe is a firm believer of this, but he is lily-livered and couldn't agitate to the extent he wasn't arrested or jailed like his peers Nkrumah , Nyerere, lumumba, sekou toure etc |
| Re: Closed by honeyB2018: 5:14am On Aug 04, 2024 |
Chinkoalhaji34:The Endsaars protest, taught the IGBOS a great lesson, hence their resolve not to have anything to do with protests in Nigeria. Many of their leaders, on various social media platform urged them not to take part. The palace of Oba of Lagos was attacked then, money and staff of office carted away, by Yorubas, till now, no one is making mention of their names, but IGBOS are constantly being mentioned as being responsible for the destructions that took place, while it was a general thing. For me, it was good that they didn't take part. |

| Re: Closed by Welcum(op): 6:03am On Aug 04, 2024 |
Kobojunkieee:Today, you are dying of hunger and crying on the streets while Igbos are feeding better than you. That's the effect of going inside to think up solutions. Your destructive protests are losing momentum only on Day 3 just because Igbos are not there with you. Bro, hate them as you like, Igbos remain your lords that you think about almost every second. |

| Re: Closed by sIfioksq: 7:33am On Aug 04, 2024 |
Somebody should tell them that supporting from the sidelines doesn't count as real action. It's like cheering for a football team while refusing to step on the pitch. Meanwhile, they love to parade around as the loudest in the room, but when it's time to actually show up, they go mute. It's all talk and no game. They think they can play both sides, but that strategy only makes them look like cowards. At the end of the day, the real question is: are they really invested in the struggle or just looking for social media clout? |

Meanwhile, citizens have raised N1.8m for a protester, Ogwu Chijioke, who admitted he had been struggling to support his son’s ambition to become a programmer.A big Shout out to all South Easterners who came out to protest in droves against Bad Governance! They stood up to their bullies whose presence were not noticed due to the large turnouts. Even Oro no show after their many disgraceful threats. ![]() |
