Tinubu ruling lagos was more of a tax collection job.
What he did from 1999 was to widen the tax net, and these helped in increasing lagos igr by more than 200% and the LAG was having enough money to run. He shape up LISR and automate revenue collection but this come at a cost because the agency responsible for rendering that services was privately owned by tinubu and the company or firm get some percentage on total revenue remitted to lagos state accounts. It was a violation of BPE because tinubu was making money and at the same time remain the governor at that time.

He actually never set up industry or build a production industry or build on human capital developments. He just use his accountant sense to run lagos by taxing everyone working in private companies. To me the real builders of modern lagos are fashola and Ambode.

The 25% discount on food items is not enough, also the BRT buses are not everywhere in the state. It is only IKORODU people that are enjoying the BRT most, they pay less on a very long journey unlike other route.

Your excellency, if possible, look into energy and see if you can help us to shoulder some % of the bill. My opinion though.
