Well said. He even advised the protesters to use a gingering song to move the protest ministry to the next level grin. I always knew that Soyinka would have been a regular critic of Tinubu, if not for obidients trying to gaslight him into doing so and viciously insulting him.
Blind men all of you. What did he really say? This rubbish post is as tasteless as tinubu's speech this morning.
He never critiqued the failure of the speech to address the demands of protesters. He never acknowledged tinubu's failure in reassuring the citizens of his commitment to better things. Wolysco Yinka just needed to be seen as still having breath of life as many already adjudged him brain dead. You cannot talk while you are eating. Soyinka should continue eating.

Soyinka's critique is noted, but we must also recognize that governance is a complex task. President Tinubu is navigating a challenging landscape. Let's give him time to implement reforms and address the issues raised. Constructive criticism is vital, but we must also support our leaders in finding solutions.
No Time to check time. If the kitchen is too hot for him, let him get out of the kitchen. Only someone that can deliver should occupy the NO 1 position.

I should criticize the govt of the day that brought hardship & severe suffering on the masses. He was just pointing at the manner the security agencies are handling the issue. He should have enough courage to tell the president that his govt is not doing well. He can do better.

You are a shame on 'obidients'. The man Obi presents himself better than his supporters. Who are mostly like uncouth and rude mofos like you. I wouldn't expect any better.

Nobody takes him serious anymore!

By 2027, Tinubu and the gbajue professor will be tossed aside into the trash bin.

I believe he has always been objective, but most of you don't calm down enough and you try to link people's silence or statement to tribe.

Wole Soyinka is not anyone's a$$licker, he doesn't need Tinubu's money or political position, he is way beyond that and also too advanced in age.

Soyinka never condemn GEJ from the onset of his government (2009-2011) and here his condemning PBAT his friend within a few months of his government. Don't allow tribal/political sentiment becloud your sense of reasoning, ICMI Soyinka and the likes of Aketi stood behind GEJ when Yaradua's cabal refused the transition of power. And somebody like Soyinka can't just be following online emotions to establish his criticism. He is only waiting for how PBAT will be a good problem solved and PBAT has just failed with his empty speech, and this is why Soyinka can constructively criticize him just like how GEJ speech was empty during his address to end the 2012 subsidy saga.
High value men are always the last to speak in the room cool
can you show me where Soyinka constructively criticised tinubus address?

can you show me the tribal/political sentiment that you say is beclouding my sense of reasoning?

you failed to answer the question? do you have any idea why I asked the question?

when he was castigating jonathan, why didnt he think of the economic impact of his criticism?

You mean Prof. Wole Soyinka, Mr. Femi Fanala, and Pastor Tunde Bakare were eating under Jonathan when they led a mass protest against the prolonged absence of President Umaru Yar’Adua in Abuja demanding for the immediate confirmation of Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan as President? Where was David Mark, Orubebe and their likes then who are GEJ's kinmen?

Sometimes, we just need to think straight.
