Gusto was playing left wing actually. It was a clever tactical role. Instead of inverting into midfield from a starting LB position, he was running up to the LW position to create the width from a starting LB position. His normal position as an inverted LB was being covered by Caicedo. But he still ran all the way back for defensive cover to make a back four.

But tactically, the box midfield was still intact with KDH/Enzo as the double 8s and the Lavia/Caicedo as double 6s, and the back 3 + GK in offensive stance.

And this has always been my problem with this useless board, sell an academy player and buy an inferior overrated player..
Ugochukwu, Mudryk , Disasi is a waste of 100 million plus .
Loftus cheek, odoi, chalobah are all better than this bums.

I just think Gallagher Lavia and Caceido should be the better balance in that midfield against top teams. Enzo is defensively lacking and doesn’t attack space with the ball quick.

There's a reason Arsenal are looking for a natural striker despite having an effective support cast.

What we need now is a natural striker that can score goals and a left winger that can dribble in tight spaces, and score. Enough of buying midfielders.

Pressure wan burst pipe walahi. I thought it would get to Lyles because he was jumping upandan like Igala when they introduced him. Kudos to him. He is a big favorite for the 200m gold but we shall see.

Teams, especially small teams will play low block against us next season, because we will play Fraudiola type of football. So, there's urgent need to get a great dribbler and a prolific scorer, who will get enough big chances to score from.

Arteta with great support cast, is still looking for that missing piece - a prolific striker. There were games begging for a top striker to mske a difference for them last season, as Saka and Martinelli got targeted by opponents in almost all the matches. If Arsenal buy Gyokeres, it's over.

Fraudiola wasn't stupid when he bought Doku to drag away more bodies from the box, with Haaland banging in goals as usual. That's why I was always asking for LWF that can dribble in tight spaces and a Scoring striker.

If we don't have the wherewithal for two quality additions as suggested, we should get a prolific striker - an upgrade to Jackson and Gui.

Having a wasteful striker is like having a cancer of the blood, every part will feel it negatively.
