Mryacks:Ours is a case of perpetual nepotism and favoritism for key positions and this have led us to where we are sporting administration wise. aestake:Competitive swimming is more rigorous than Ijaw style of swimming. The people that are winning medals in Olympics started training from tender age with goof facilities and would have won major competitions to qualify for the olympics |

I remember in those days when I used to play table tennis, I always think I'm better than those who goes to stadium for training until I met one small boy that taught me a bitter lesson winning me 10 times in arrow with heavy financial loss. I never knew that the boy was a junior champion. Today, I saw a 17-year-old French boy winning a bronze medal in table tennis and I wonder our players who represented Nigeria has been doing so in the last 6 Olympics and have never gotten to medal level. The conclusion is talents are never nurtured to world level in Nigeria because of so many administrative lapses such as nepotism ang corruption |
