That is the saying of hopeless people who don't want to work on ensuring their relatives and acquaintances in public office prioritise the masses' commonwealth for employing workers to provide basic common services. If pipe borne water was available in all buildings will we have this type of unfortunate incidents and cholera outbreaks?

How can the 36 governors and their predecessors have failed to provide water in all buildings in this 21st century? Yet we say it is well even inside the well. Why do we do ourselves so much wickedness

The lack of state-owned pipe-borne water in the homes of Lagos residents has continued to be a source of concern, a non-profit group, Corporate Accountability and Public Advocacy Africa (CAPPA) has said.

At a press event to mark this year’s World Water Day, the group said its monitoring team’s visit to state-owned waterworks showed that most of them are not operational.

The group said the waterworks it visited include the ones at Maryland, Mushin, Ikorodu, Obalende, Agbowa, Onikan, Ikoyi, and Amuwo Odofin.

Only the one in Ikoyi is producing water, according to CAPPA.

That well has a lid, he can not "mistakenly" fall inside it.

So how do you go about purifying the well for usage after such an incident . Do you pump out the water for days ?
