The country population is about 170 million people.

The voice of the people is the voice of God.

Where there is unity and oneness in a group of people, they can pull down a mountain but tribalism and religion has blocked the brains of many of our people here.

If Nigerias own is not speedily and adequately handled don't be surprised if this happens in Nigeria but I hope it doesn't because I still believe that the best of civilian rule is still better than the best of military rule
That's what you were told. But you forget to notice that, all the States, Local governments, institutions, major infrastructures and everything good in Nigeria were created by the military.
Your best civilian government cannot create a Local government or move the country forward because of tribalism, religious bigotry and nepotism. They told you is the best and you believe without asking questions.

They are not tired yet. Tribalistic bunch.

Suggest a break up of the country so they can practice their tribalism in their respective new countries, they 'll come back and fight you, while shouting 'one nigeria'.

Awon oponu.

From Wikipedia:
The vast majority (about 99%) of Bangladeshis are of the Bengali ethno-linguistic group. This group also spans the neighboring Indian province of West Bengal. Minority ethnic groups include Meitei, Tripuri, Marma, Tanchangya, Barua, Khasi, Santhals, Chakma, Rakhine, Garo, Biharis, Oraons, and Mundas. More than 90% are Muslims.
You cannot defeat a homogenous force.

Nothing similar will happen in Nigeria.

This is to tell you that if the people unite they can break the unbreakable and truly truly the power belongs to the people.

Brain dead agbadorians now will be "oh , she's a woman that's why she ran to India" forgetting that this woman is far more stronger, well experienced than the self acclaimed accountant of iragbiji, but she still succumbed. Make Tinubu de play.

Meanwhile, the fake self acclaimed accountant who developed and built Lagos right nowgrin grin grin
I tell them here that Nigerians never ready. All those pro govt people that come here and talk rubbish. If the people hunger persist for long, they should be ready. People who are down aren't scared of falling, they rather burn down everything make everyone go down.
The pro govt people better tell their masters. Fix Nigeria o, one day na one day. This lady never saw it coming.
Some of the most brutal forces in north Africa were chased away by their citizens. If the citizens determine, no amount of bullet will chase them away.
How many U want to kill? U will run or everything burn down

This will be the fate of Tinubu if he keep ignoring protesters demand
Wait till 2027. Tinubu has the mandate of the people!

Democracy has come to stay, and shall not be trampled upon by extremist. No going back on fuel subsidy or multiple exchange rates.

He should allow imported foodstuffs of all kind up till February. Minister of Agriculture should be on ground, meeting all farmers, small, medium and large, asking what they need, and what can be done to help. All ministers should be on ground, no more sitting in offices.

Accelerate the mass metering process, so electricity gets even better. Mr Adelabu should tell us the journey to 6,000 MW he promised by December, and how he is going to achieve it.

CNG should be done alongside with electric cars/buses/trucks. If you have electric cars and places around countries to charge them, you good to go. CNG takes time!

Regarding the student loan, there should be a documentary by Tetfund, outlining the process for us to see. We should see the students who are current beneficiaries, how easy the process is, and see active participants, so that more students will take advantage.

Payment should be made upon job found, and not 2 years after NYSC.

She is the daughter of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding father and first president of Bangladesh. Having served for a combined total of over 20 years, she was the longest serving prime minister in the history of Bangladesh. Before leaving office in 2024, she was the world's longest-serving female head of government.

Goodbye the Iron Lady of Asia.

@blackbriar,

Indeed, it's as good as saying the Army have taken over the governance of Bangladesh. These are the unintended consequences of these kinds of protests by the younger generation [Gen Zs especially] who never experienced brutal and corrupt military rule. You NEVER know where it would end. Bangladesh has been under very brutal military dictatorships in the past that did NOT help that country. In a democracy, you can still protest and call out the politicians on live phone-in programs, but in full-blown military dictatorships, you CANNOT do that. There were many Ghanaians, a few Jamaicans, a few Americans, a few British, Indian, and Bangladeshi expats during the oil boom era right into the early 1980s in Nigeria who were academics in Nigerian Universities and other institutions and I attended school with some of their children back then. My Bangladeshi buddies and their family later moved to Canada from Nigeria during the Ibrahim Babangida years of military rule when the economy started to tank from 1985 and it never recovered. So, military rule can set the freedom of speech and economies of countries back in time.

Most Nigerians are chestbeating cowards only after their own personal interests

The fact that there are anti protesters already proves this nation is going nowhere, these guys are Muslims and that’s why they had so much balls

Only the Northerners can achieve this level of chaos
Those from the East, West and South are too timid and afraid

Myself included, I go japa leave una, who wan die
Why should Igbos participate with Northerners who campaigned and voted for Buhari in 2015? Why should a Yoruba person protest against Tinubu when Northerners did not protest against Buhari?

Once you hear that , @ the bolded, know that IMF / world bank ruined that country, in connivance with traitors within them.

Note: world bank is owned by the elites of nations descendants of western Europe: us, UK, Australia, canada, new Zealand, Switzerland, France

IMF: owned PRIMARILY by the Rothschilds; trillionaires ( the royal family members of THE CHOSEN TRIBE THAT DOES WICKEDNESS ALL OVER THE WORLD).

em..pls find out who THE CHOSEN TRIBE IS.

For your mind
sleek214:
Power brings out the greed and foolishness in humans. At 81, Joe Biden so much love power that he almost didn't want to listen to those that asked him not to seek reelection until they starting pulling out donors funds. Trust me, if Biden was in Africa or Asia or one of the countries with weak institutions, he would've have contested. Bangladesh PM started well, towards the end of her 2nd tenure she started showing her true character, she turned her regime to an autocratic regime. Opposition leaders were imprisoned, any dissenting voice is crushed. Over 200 university students were killed while protesting last month, another 90 killed during the weekend protests. Now to our Tinubu that pride himself as one of those that fought for democracy, that took part in many protests is here encouraging security agents to deal with protesters,, what a shame... He better do the needful by reintroducing fuel subsidies before it becomes too late... Majority of those supporting him now will join those on the street and call for his resignation.

Can’t happen here. Divide and rule experts will make sure of that. Keep the hungry people busy fighting each other (whether on grounds of religion or tribe) and they will be ok!

Religious doctrines and dogmas is for fools! Did you remember that Islamic thread where that guy was saying protesting is haram in Islam?
Is Bangladesh not a Muslim country? Why didn't follow the teachings of their religion?
Religion especially that thinks it can solve everything can't! Islam got it all wrong in the aspect of bad governance by frowning against protest!
