My Mind-blowing Experience With The Federal High Court's E-affidavit System by PriestBeMyName(op): 1:13pm On Aug 06, 2024
Guys, I just had the most amazing experience with the Federal High Court's new e-affidavit system, and I had to share it with you all. If you’re like me and have been dreading the usual hassle of getting an affidavit, brace yourself for some good news!

*First Things First: Logging In and Creating an Account

So, I hopped onto the Federal High Court's affidavit portal https://portal.fhc.gov.ng/. To be honest, I was expecting the usual complicated mess, but boy, was I wrong! I needed to create an account since it was my first time. They just asked for basic stuff like my name, email, and phone number. I filled it all in, hit submit, and bam – got a confirmation email instantly. Smooth and simple.

After logging in, I was taken to a dashboard with clear options. I clicked on 'Apply for New Affidavit,' and a form popped up. Now, this is where things usually get tedious, right? But not this time! The form was super easy to understand and fill out. They had clear instructions and little tips to guide you. I entered all the necessary details, uploaded my supporting document, and double-checked everything. I hit submit, made payments and sat back, expecting to wait forever. But guess what? Within a few minutes, I got a notification that my application was being reviewed.

Here’s where it gets cool. In less than 15 minutes, I got an email querying my uploaded signature from the Commissioner of Oath. I did exactly as I was instructed and resubmitted the form and in 7 minutes, I got another email for approval. I am truly amazed by the process. No need to go to the court. The efficiency was mind-blowing.

From start to finish, the whole process took less than 30 to 40 minutes. I am genuinely shocked at how efficient and user-friendly the system was. The Federal High Court has seriously outdone itself with this one.

30-40 minutes completion rate is cumbersome not efficient Except you didn't know what to do. Nice one for a start though

The E-system has been on for some years now even before this present adminstration. There's even a barcode on the affidavit for confirmation .
Some of the court workers do it all on behalf of clients while charging some fees.

Well... that was because I was login in for the first time, plus the time it took for me to respond to the query. Ordinarily it shouldn't take up to 10mins, the entire process

Well, this was just recently announced by the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court. And the operation started July 1st I suppose

Yes it is... I think the one you are referring to is that of the FCT High Court. And they still require you to come and finish the process in court. But this one. You have the option of going to the Federal High Court, or doing the complete process at home

This is coming very late because I completely forgot to mention it earlier. I actually reached out to PriestBeMyName for help with my e-affidavit, and he responded to me very swiftly. In under 2 minutes after sending my details to him, he got it approved.

Thank you very much.

I had the most convenient experience with the help of Priestly. I got his recommendation from my sister who testified to a seamless process and her encounter with him for the first time. Happy to share that my affidavit came out in less than 2hours.
Thanks alot for your selflessness
