Which universities are benefiting from the loan. Am confused here.

Then when the student reapply for the loan for the next session, the clock will reset and start again.

Currently, it seems the Northern students applied more for the loan and they’ve been getting it.

My appeal to Southerner is that if you know you don’t have much to pay your school fees or your parents are struggling, head now to NELFUND website and apply for the student loan.

Don’t think this is like before where government play ping pong. This is very real.

20k can't even feed a student well for 2weeks, you've lost the value of 20k in Nigeria since you don't even stay in Nigeria, I believe same thing with Tinubu and his advisers because of how far they are from the people while in governance...

I wish I saw this per month back then in 2015 when I was schooling.... I was basically suffering and surviving with 2k per 3weeks... foodstuffs included. After buying 20 cups of beans, 20cups of garri, 10cups of rice, pepper, red oil, I'm left with 100 or 200naira and I will use the remaining change too be buying kulikuli too soak garri...

Luckily for me I'm staying in the student hostel and it's just a stone throw too department, no need for transportation..... handouts is out of the equation, I never bought any.... sometimes I hold 20naira as my last card for days...... that situation where you won't want to spend ur last card and be left with no money...

Now we thank God

Thank God for your life, mine was quite different...that was from 2005-2010, but the 20k of now is not the 20k of 2015, 20cups of beans alone right now is 9k, I doubt the 20k will even do what the 2k did for you in 2015.

oh it will.. considering using the smell market I purchase from in with the 2k in 2015... 20cups of beans is 6k presently, 10cups of foreign rice is 2,800, 20cups of garri is 2k.. red oil ragolis is 1k, pepper is 500naira..... I would still have about 8k change...

Minimum wage in 2015 is 18k
Minimum wage presently is 70k..

Nigeria economy is nothing to write home about, but 20k now is definitely bigger than 2k in 2015

They won't deduct it while you are a student. It's going to be 2 years after your NYSC. It's assumed that by then, you have gotten a job.

That is what confuses me everytime. Tuition-free and you still pay school fees. What is then the tuition-free!

20k can add to what a parent is giving to the student and support them monthly.

If a parent is giving 20k before to their student and they always complain of hunger. FG giving them 20k more to make 40k is a good thing as this will at least make things better for them.

If I go on Twitter today and say I want to do giveaway of 20k for students, almost 90% of student will drop account.

Please sir do this 20k giveaway for me🙏
