FAAC Allocation To 774 Local Govt in 33 States And The FCT For July, 2024 by meedoLock(op):
Now, more focus and expectation should be put on our local govt, this is looking good. Empowering them like this assures quick community development which the citizens have been deprived long time ago.

This is a preamble of how redistribution of power and wealth in our polity looks like, courtesy of restructuring.

While at that, fellow Nigerians, let's channel more energy on the 'RESTRUCTURING' of this country. Not 'DESTRUCTION'. Not ONE Nigeria we are made to believe exist.

Nigeria is too wide and complex to be run by one man sitting inside the Aṣọ Rock. It must be operated in faces not unitarily. This is the only way we could have it cool.

Most of these states use the Money to pay salaries That is why apart from states like Lagos and Abuja with huge IGR coutsey of being a former federal capital and new capital. Most of them are just getting by.

Even the salaries sef they never pay am finish. That is why a state like Gombe is saying he cannot pay 70,000. In a state like Gombe that government is the largest employer of Labour.

That is why True Restructing must be done.

Each states should be in charge of its resources and sends a fraction to the federal government like a true federating unit not this one the FG is giving them stipends every month

You are on point bro👍. Restructuring is very intimidating to an average politician, they do not want to miss their milking point for anything.

Thanks for pointing that out!

Does it mean state is allocated separately?

By the way, I am getting requests for money from Osun State local government employees. The reason they give is local government has not paid them.

Its in 2024 that you finally get to concede that Nigeria is too big to be ruled by one person

Well, you are right. But believe me, every person's who get into that office regardless of their good or bad intention would look crook to you one year up. That's why you someone like us seriously advocating for restructuring. I mean let's do zonal if we can't do region to start with. The bedrock is that the current system is dysfunctional and not sustainable for a country as heterogeneous as Nigeria.

Lol. It is for state with the LG in each state being showed.

You need to know the meagre money sent to the LG is. You wont say this.

If LG earn that much, states will be earning times three

In Oyo for instance,No LG earns 450M per month with some earning as little as 200Million. That is why Nationwide the state had to come into their aid helping them to pay salaries, pensions and recruitment of primary school.

Before now,LG workers used to strike for a year when money no even reach to offset their monthly wage from the Federal Government

Note. I am not talking states like Lagos that is the Economic centre of Nigeria.

Stop arguing blindly. The money is for the 774 local government areas in Nigeria. The FG might have paid it into a joint accounts in each state, but this allocation is what local governments in each state are entitled to share among themselves.

Do you even know what you are saying at all?
The allocation is almost doubled what they used to get and they haven't started with new minimum wage. Keep hating Tinubu and be praising your useless Governors.

Nothing is double. Nobody is praising any Govornor just saying the truth

Oyo a state before now was getting 8Billion montly,it just became approximately 11Billion. Kindly check the previous month. It is public Nothing hidden.

If it were double would it be 11Billion it is currently?

Maybe you should show me with facts and figures. No state got double of its previous monthly allocation. NONE

All these wanting to put the blame on the step of the Govornors when it was the FG that increased cost of fuel from 185 to the current 850 won't work.

Fuel increase and the dollar selling for almost 1600 is the main cause of our problem. Then after that you can blame the Govornors.

Is Abia state even paying up to 18k?

Despite that Abia state isn’t paying up to 18k minimum wage, they’re still owing workers several months unpaid salaries..
