JUMIA has really been struggling for quite some time now, I hope they can overcome this challenge and come out stronger.

I shop on their platform a lot and I like their excellent customer service. More than once, they sent me food packages in appreciation. Please o, you people shouldn't fold up abeg. cry cry cry

The economy has really dealt a major blow to businesses in Nigeria. It's even more depressing to see that there's no end in sight since our leaders seem bereft of ideas. angry angry angry

As expected, there'll be some blaming Nigeria's government for this but if you read the article, Nigeria and Ghana are the only two countries keeping them going, according to the CEO.
And the loss they recorded was through the whole continent

Some leaders are usually lucky to come at a time of surplus while others are unfortunate. I feel for Tinubu
You feel for Tinubu as if they forced him to become president. What low thinking? Instead of you to feel sorry for the average Nigerians and businesses that are suffering you’re feeling sorry for an egomaniac who said it was his turn to rule

how is surplus a thing of luck? did the surplus fall from heaven or someone created it?

tinubu spent ₦3.7b on new cars and N244m on tyres.

Built new VP's house at the cost of ₦21b.

Renovated National Assembly at the cost of ₦30b

bought SUVs for the legislootors at the cost of #160m each.

Travelled to Ethiopia for just one week and expended ₦1b.

Expended over ₦90b for Hajj operation.

why then do you feel for tinubu?

Jumia is still burning cash and not profitable after 12 year of operation. Pathetic!

This report affects the whole group of countries and not only Nigeria. In fact Nigeria's performance is one of the best.

E-commerce business in Africa is not for the faint hearted. Imagine incurring millions of Dollars in loss every month. Their investors are really strong and have strong faith in them.
how d rest of the world take after jumia for Nigeria, get sense, if d Country was doing well, it won't b operating at a lost....
