Let everyone calm down. This Dani Olmo signing ain't all bad as it seems. It's a luxury signing yes, but can still turn out very fruitful.

The only reason I'm more antagonistic of the signing is the money we spent/ are spending. If not it's not bad. He's versatile. Can play across the forward line .... behind CF, AMF, LW, RW. No one has that profile in Barca currently. And Barca sorely needs the depth badly.

I remember how we came to hate Xavi for shipping out Pablo Torre and even Fati same time, even tho we seemingly looked like we had good squad depth upfront. Fast forward half way into the season. We see wetin happen, how injuries spoilt our season. If not for Yamal, we for cry shege with all the talk that our forward was stacked.

Our midfield we always love saying and used to how overloaded it was suddenly became a drought-hit position. No De Jong, Pedri, Gavi and even Christensen on some intervals. There's a time the first three were absent at once. We now had to bring back Roberto to midfield, even Romeu dey wey later useless. All left with aging Gundogan and inexperienced Fermin, so bad Raph had to play midfield sometimes.
Based on our injury palava, no need to shout sef especially with how last season turned out.

If na remember, our defence we thought was stacked with Araujo, Balde, Cancelo, Inigo, Kounde, Christensen, Alonso, Roberto, somehow became bedeviled with our injury issues, we got lucky we found Pau Cubarsi in time. If not we for hear am.

So these large numbers of players in various or same positions is somewhat good. It strengthens squad depth and overall quality. Remember, a player or two in a position WILL drop in form and when there's no depth, you're forced to use them like that. Injury sef dey, so shortage will surely come at some point either in midfield or defence or forward position. There's also suspensions (yellow or red cards). We can remember how we all swore at Araujo for that stupid blunder last season. We had no similar profile like him, so we lost. We were cut open with fast wingers.

LET'S NOT FORGET, THE SEASON IS LONG AND HARD AND WE FIGHT FOR MULTIPLE TROPHIES. With this in mind.... Olmo isn't a bad buy, so far his injuries is tackled and Flick specifically asked for him. I also hear Hansi Flick favours a large squad.

The only issue of large squad presently na salary issues and FFP. If not for our financial struggles, it's a good thing to have a large squad with complimentary qualities even some redundancy with similar profiles is fancied cos of injuries or suspensions.

These are my two cents why similar players and redundancy isn't a bad thing if it's QUALITY.

But that Leao is not a serious player. There was a time he cleanly dribbled past Valle, make werey carry ball enter the box to create something, he paused. Person wey you don dribble finish he's not even close to you to keep up.
Anytime I see that Leao to Barca links ehn, I dey vex. Very unserious player.

I wish we were capable to take on a signing of leao's magnitude at this point, aside those talks about his inconsistency and poor goal scoring, I believe he'll cook when he jams flick's seriousness cause he just looks over comfortable and doesn't want to push himself in Milan but it's virtually impossible as of now even Nico that costs far less we can't get, just need one of them
