grin Bad workwoman blames her tools. All the lanes are of equal distance. They are each 200meters in length. Some people prefer to run blind sef! Las las u cannot be faster more than you are fast🤣
Use this opportunity and do a research on sprint race n lanes.

It’s a lane draw . Gabby who won her heat was Lane 7. Not even 4/5/6.
Stop spreading rumours like Tinubu bag of rice
Do a research on my claims and I bet you your ignorance will be cured

If you're a fast runner and dem put you for lane 9, you go still come first, so brother your analogy no work here.
In the history of sprinting in the Olympics since 1896, name athletes who have won medals running in Lane 9, even in long distance races, ask yourself why do all the athletes leave all their lanes after the first 200m to run in lane1 if the lanes do not have impact on your performance?
Nyash na nyash but dem get sizes.

grin you don’t need any research to know the innermost lane is the shortest. That’s why in marathon all athletes endeavor to run on that lane, regardless wot lane they started out in.
So, in 200m, anyone who gets the inner lane, will be placed far behind while the person on the outermost lane will be placed ahead of all the rest. They don’t stand on equal places b4 the race.
Everything else na excuse. Have you ever bothered to listen to football coaches complain on losing? Some say it’s cos the grass on pitch is too long, some say fans were hostile, some say there was smoke on the pitch etc. there is always an excuse for failure if that’s what u mean

the lane ain’t they the same measurement??
The technique used to negotiate that bend is the key to success or failure of an athlete.

Omo since I have not seen news on nairaland that Nigeria has won a medal, then I will assume we have not won one yet. What about tobi amusan, I haven't heard any news about her recently. It seems her category hasn't begin yet. She seems to be our only hope of a medal.
Hurdles heat started today. Tobi qualified for the next round

grin hardwork na proper training. Hardwork can not give you talent you don’t have. It only improves your talent. No matter how much Mikel Obi train, or hardwork, he can never be better than Missi grin

You are derailing....

So , if I can understand you very well , no matter how Favour Ofili. trains, he can never win a gold medal in Olympic....

It is all part of the development, ask Tobi she will tell you how it felt missing podium almost forever but she never gave up.

Big events like this those who hold their nerves end up victorious.

If she had run her semifinal time she would have gotten silver.
It is what it is, finals are always too nervy in the sprints and requires some level of professionalism and experience.

Just keep going dear cos that podium na sure bet for u

You boasted about Ofili yesterday to the disfavour of Tobi Amusan. Unfortunately Ofili could only manage 6th position. Best of luck to Favour in the future but stop hating on others. You make it sound so obvious.

She is crying because she was robbed by the organisers, she had the 3rd best time in the semifinal, why was she given lane 9 in the finals? She ought to be lanes 4,5, or 6, not 9. If you know the dynamics of sprint race you will understand what am saying. Cheer up Girl, You did well.
You are right bro. Starting lane matters a lot

you are right. it's rigged. i watched the race again. it was rigged for gabby thomas to come first.
gabby thomas was in lane 7 or so. lane 6,7 are the best lanes.
by the time lane 9 where ofili was finish the curve, you are already struggling to catch up with the others

She should remain focused and pray for a medal in the Relay

It is possible
Pray for medal? Does prayers win medal? Nigerians and their useless prayers. They pray for everything. .....always looking for shortcuts.

They pray to defecate . After eating too much of carbohydrate food. Which leads to constipation.

Obviously you should go through my earlier posts and comments
I said earlier in the 400m everybody will feel those curves wether you like it or not but when it comes to the 200m it has a totally different effect if you are in lane 8
Go through my earlier comments for explanations on why it is so

I doubt that
Her performance is what pushed her slot to the lane alotted .even richarlson experienced the same.
Unfortunately for richarlson the same mistake she kept repeating in the heats hunted her
As for ofili she just was not able to tackle those curves to make her came at par with everyone else by the time she was on home stretch
