A Nigerian Newspaper Is Confused Over Protest by Millimann(op): 5:01pm On Aug 07, 2024
It appears that some newspapers are desperately looking for ways to associate the southeast with the current hunger protest in Nigeria.

How can a national newspaper write that youths gathered in Umuahia, "capital of Anambra state" over Protest.

In their hate-filled confusion they forgot that Umuahia is not the capital of Anambra state.

They also forgot that they had used that picture few days ago to show what was happening in Plateau state.

Obviously, the ‘dot region’ is significant enough for you to obsess on 24/7! I mean, have you seen your post history lately!?

The OP was pointing out the extent some were prepared to go in their bid to try and include the south-east in the ongoing protest: using a fake pic to report on a non-existent protest in the region! At no point did he mention any other ethnicity, yet for some funny reason you felt threatened enough to want to chook mouth in the matter!

I know enough about your sort to know this moniker is just one of two or more you use for your online trolling! Get a life!

This is unacceptable by any standard. A widely circulated Newspaper of the Punch's capacity and reputation have no news proof reader before going to print shocked shocked shocked shocked Do you know that the wrong message can end up setting the country on fire even when that wasn't the intention 😞😞😞

how is that an error??

Same paper that reported same picture to be that of Jos turned around to call it Umahia, the capital of anambra

If a national newspaper don't know that Umahia is not in anambra, then they are not qualified to report credibly
