All these squabbles and name calling are not necessary. It is obviously the turn of Rivers State chapter from January 2025. I therefore advise our beloved incoming president from Rivers State to exercise patience and allow chief Iwuanyanwu to be buried since it is still the portion of IMO state to hold office till January 2025. There is no reason to start creating conflicts and raising allegations that will dent the image of Igbos. Igbo land and Igbos are one indivisible and inseparable entity no matter where we are in Nigeria, we should not allow our bond of unity and brotherhood to be broken by our enemies. There is no power tussle at all. Rivers State will take their turn of leadership of ohaneze absolutely. |

BALLOSKI:From the write up, the Rivers Man ought to have become the Deputy President General since last year, to complete the tenor of Rivers State as Deputy President General.but he was not ratified by ime-obi with no good reason. If he was ratified, he would automatically have become the Acting President General. Maybe they know that Iwanyanwu will soon Kpai and don't want a Rivers person to become President General. |

So Rivers state man dey contest the position but vultures of babablu say that there are no Igbo indigenes in River state. |
| Re: Two Ohanaeze Leaders Claim ‘acting President General’ by Brendaniel: 7:33am On Aug 09, 2024 |
Lifestone:To stop all these leadership issue, they should make the president and vice president come from the same state, that way in situations like this the vice president automatically becomes the president while every other state waits for their own turn, also the Ohaneze organization can be more structured to carry every Igbo person in Nigeria and in diaspora along... A whole lot of things need to be worked on going further... |
| Re: Two Ohanaeze Leaders Claim ‘acting President General’ by Lifestone(m): 7:40am On Aug 09, 2024 |
Brendaniel:Succession plans were in place, the Next President should come from Imo State, the struggle now is who will act till the final right of passage for Iwanyanwu and before Imo State Nominees comes out. I think the Rivers Man is just fighting injustice and interference in Rivers State Chapter |

One million red flags in one report. First, the report is from Nation's Newspaper who would do anything to manufacture imaginary crisis in Ohaneze. Second, the Omenazu guy is obviously a Wike lackey seeking to take hold of Ohaneze and use it to run Wike's errands which is why Ime-Obi, in their wisdom, stepped down the approval of his nomination. For the record, Ime-Obi has the powers to reject anyone nominated by a state chapter to fill in their position in Ohaneze. That Ime-Obi raised no objection on Iwuanyanwu's nomination does not mean that it must not raise objection on Omenazu's nomination. If anything, the fact that Omenazu has ran to Nations Newspaper to try to create the imprrssion of an imaginary crisis in Ohaneze and accuse the group of marginalization already justifies why he is not the character to lead Ohaneze. And I hope when that when elections come in January when it will be the turn of Rivers to produce the President General of Ohaneze, that he would still not get it. Lastly, I thought Ronus have spent their entire existence swearing and arguing that there are no Igbos in Rivers, what would they say now that their darling Nations Newspaper is reporting of how a Rivers man is laying claim to the presidency of Ohaneze? Abi na Ijaw man wan be president of Ohaneze? It's good to always see every of your lies fall like a pack of cards by itself in your very presence. Ikwerre is Igbo; and not in a million years would there be a change in that no matter who disagrees with that and no matter how history is distorted. |

Lifestone:Is there a vice president? If there is, he is supposed to be from Imo state to avoid all these issues, he would have stayed the complete term for Imo state till the next election which is zoned to Rivers state... |

Brendaniel:I get your point. So the Vice president comes from where the next President should come from and becomes the President automatically on the demise of the incumbent president. Simple |
