If is actually a fraudulent event, good job by the ministry. But the minister looks like a power drunk woman.
I don't even know what's going on

This is highly unbecoming of a federal minister.

Must she go down to the venue herself to disrupt it ?

What happened to getting the Police to act ?

Is this part of her portfolio ?

Protecting the franchise of the office of the minister of women affairs ?

If it was Wike that did this, those on this thread who have suddenly become bi-partisan in their support for this agberoe woman would have been having a field day insulting Wike but their stinking tribalism has made them to come and defend this crass display of this dishonourable minister

Wrong choice of words - They had a prior arrangement/plan that was shifted till further notice (unilaterally I believe, using same guise of president this & that...)
Not like she (the ministry) doesn't have a clue about it at all.
So, where is the impersonation actually?
Event planning for government that keeps postponing after invites and paying for speakers/venue can be a nightmare

The worst mistake is allowing them to vote during elections.
Worst mistake? Women's vote are the reason there are protests in Nigeria presently? Or what exactly do you mean by worst mistake?

When stupidity is a person......

You are right but what have men done differently in particularly this country politically? How are men better economically? They both are just birds of a feather politically in Nigeria. Nigerian politicians are very pathetic!!!

The organizers must have jumped protocol..An Average Nigerian politician doesn’t care whose name an event is been held as long as it is beneficial.
From what I heard, the organizer did not jump Protocol. The Federal Ministry of Women's Affairs pulled out of an already planned event.

The mistake the organizer made was not rebranding the event after the ministry pulled out.

She did not have to go personally, it's not a face me I face you matter. She should have had them arrested after and the case would have been taken to court which is the ideal case

She disrespected her office and the country by that action

Simple

Government officials take their brand a big deal. The organizer should have known that she could not continue with the program and cancelled it.

I feel for her because she must have been really confused after spending on an event location, organizing the venue. Printing programs and Invitations, inviting special guests, both local and international. Men.

I think it is right the Minister went there because of likely the personalities involved. Also the agencies and media. A personal explanation to why the ministry arrested the organizer will give a form of respect to the public.
