You mean the government officials became corrupt when they got into office?
Did you buy any bag of rice for 40k?

The fault is not in our leaders, it is wholly on Nigerians. Imagine the nefarious conduct of some Nigerians abroad. They bring the country's name to disrupt globally.
It was once insinuated at some quarters that every Nigerian is a potential criminal and I was almost tempted to believe this.
The inordinate hike in the prices of foodstuffs and other essential commodities are partly due to the influence of market unions or associations that arbitrarily hike prices of goods and services in Nigeria. Except the Federal and State Government promptly take steps to arrest the situation, the price hike may continue.
Some Nigerians too out of selfish and ethnic consideration voted into power persons that were obviously not eligible and capable of holding public offices.
Buhari helped to destroy our economy which during his tenure needed salvation and out of ethnic consideration, most Northerners saw nothing wrong with his administration.
Now that Tinubu is in power, hell seems to have broken loose in some Northern States.
Fellow Nigerians,
Nigeria belongs to us collectively irrespective of our tribes and religious beliefs. Let's join hands together with the present government to help to rebuild the nation into a just and an egalitarian society that we and our future generation would be proud of.
Nigerian youths should see Nigeria as a pedestal on which they can boldly and proudly build on for the growth of the country and for their individual prosperity.
To rebuild this country, we need the wealth of experience of our leaders and we aptly demand from them too:
Fairness in the distribution of the country's wealth or resources,
The need to be incorruptible,
Equity and justice,
Total eradication of security challenges in the country,
Assisting the youth in the country to be gainfully employed,
Giving Pensioners special grants and payments of all their outstanding gratuity both at the Federal and State levels.
Provision of subsidy on essential food items.
These suggestions are purely my personal contribution to nation-building and I hope the Tinubu administration would acceed to it as a matter of urgency.
May Nigeria become a nation we would all be proud of by the Grace of God.
AMEN!

What is the website ?

To start with I know you are a liar n an Igbo but I will wait for you to expose yourself with the lie about any website.

This is not to say Tinubu is not a failure but to let the world know you are a liar while Tinubu is also a failure

Kobojunkieee:
These people are a bunch of fraudsters!

This is rice that one Monday this government announced would only be available to civil servants and via a website. I checked the website on that day and searched for rice but came up with no results. Now today Thursday, still unable to purchase the rice, we are told the program has been shut down for some stewpid reasons. This government never planned to send the people rice to begin with. This was all part of Tinubu's many lies/frauds against the Nigerian people. undecided

There is nothing illegal or immoral about their decision to resell these bags of rice at the current market price of 85k. We should ask Tulumbu why he remains so ignorant as to think he can sell bags of rice to some Nigerians at half the market price and expect them not to resell it for profit to meet their other household needs. Shey those of us buying for 85k are d v m b abi? LMAO!

No poor, struggling Nigerian today would resell a bag of rice they bought for 40k at the same price in a market where everyone buys for 85k wen no be say they're d u m b. Did these people beg you for rice?? Will rice solve their energy, electricity, school fees, rent, and other inflationary issues??

Until Tulumbu and his arch demons in power abandon the idea of trying to solve every systemic problem in Nigeria with skewed palliatives, nothing will change.
Reselling what govt already subsidizied at an higher price is criminal and wrong in all ways
the fact they are meant for direct comsumption prohibit resales

Such callous moves undermines the objective of subsidy to relieve hardship

Selling what you bought for 40k at 85k is criminal and a act of wickedness

The average Nigerian is corrupt and criminally minded. These ones will blame the FG too. Ordinary transcript to collect na war in most public universities in Nigeria because of these same corrupt civil servants.
Rubbish ...

This has nothing to do with the average Nigerian; it is common sense to take advantage of economic opportunities.

The problem is with the Nigerian government, which has neglected the farmers and relies on small-scale farmers. If there were abundant food production in Nigeria, the price would immediately fall. Are you paying for sunlight or air.

The solution is not palliative or food importation but local food production....simple.

The government should support industrial-scale food producers, provide loans and grants for equipment and fertiliser, and ensure sufficient security .

I laugh when people say that they should give Tinubu government more time.

There was a reason why Liz Truss was removed as UK Prime Minister after 48 days.

In the case of Tinubu, he should have been impeached on day one when he announced that disastrous statement that fuel subsidies have gone with reviewing the government accounts or the status of the economy.

Tinubu's government is clueless, but Nigeria's political system is hopeless, allowing the likes of Tinubu and Buhari to smell the government.

If you can't perform, please get out for others to do so, Tinubu.

call it whatever, the truth is bitter

its always convenient for us to curse & blame the govt at everything but Nigerians are very sick people ..you will find mosquito net shared by WHO in supermarkets for sale undecided,
See bro nobody is taking advantage of any economic ... what we are doing as Nigerians is inflict more pains and hardship on one another extortion.... . we are taking advantage of ourselves nii .. you cheat me on rice i cheat you back when you come to buy pepper nii
Govt as only one fault in our food production, i.e insecurity challenge cos farmers can't go to farm freely, however a temporary measure such as opening land borders and lifting bans on grains would ensure food abundances pending the time govt find lasting solutions to resolve insecurity around Farm lands

All a good Govt need provide is anenabling environment.... just provie enabling environment and capitalist will thrive .. no brainer

Unpatriotic nigerians reason towards only self . Why should anyone sell one bag that was meant to be used by the family. Its only the people that value money than Thier life that can do that. No love for the country or each other. Everything is not about Money. They gave money to farmers by last administration to produce food massively, but after harvest the farmers sold to neighboring countries for higher cost, instead of selling to fellow Nigerian at lower cost, that's unpatriotic.
