I live in a suburb of my local government and yes I have a job in one of the major cities around. My resident are more of local farmers. One of the old women gave me a full barrow of cassava or more than that for free. I peeled it alongside my fiancẹ́ and headed to garri processing mill ASAP!! 130kg of cassava will be turned to garri with 5200naira..... I'm very happy. No more buying garri from next week ooo

why do you guys always use private school teachers as a reference for struggling individuals??
I never meant to ridicule or deride the private school teachers but rather feeling their pains and wondering how they are coping

Pocket friendly? It's obvious the writer of this article has not gone to the market recently.
He has. He only wants to pull people's leg

I wanted to annoyingly counter the OP's list but the comments under it spoke my mind.

No food in the present Nigeria is pocket friendly.

One cup of garri is #200
One cup of rice #350
One cup of beans #450
4pcs of plantain #1000.

May God have mercy upon us... things are out of hands already.

Guy you never ridicule us but stating the obvious.

I can never advice any young graduate to opt for private school teaching job.... it's draining and poverty inclined.

Na lack of capital to starts business still keep me engulfed in this shit.

Salary can't feed only you for 2weeks...not to talk of having 2kids.

Nigeria is really hot on us...may God help pesin.

Pocket friendly? You not serious. Aside chewing bread and drinking water, eating cooked potatoes and red oil and drinking garri with salt I don't think anything on that your list is pocket friendly o!
