It's a great initiative but my fear is the tickling bomb under the passenger seat waiting for the right time to explode. Left to me, there ought to be sensitization first before dispatching those complaints to drivers. These guys care not for the safety of humans so far they are making good amount of money daily. Around 2018 when I travelled home from Lagos, na gas powered bus transported me. Then, I really feared for my live thinking it could burst at any slight bump. When I alighted, I just thank God..lolz Even though I don't always subscribe to Mr Bayo school of thought, I have seen cars and trailers converted to CNG right in Ibadan. If you visit the Mobil station along toll gate in IB, you definitely would see lots of them waiting to load CNG fuel. I could get snapshots to prove it 14 Likes 1 Share |

Safety Safety Safety - The state govt should organise a brain check / drug test to the supposed driver, with a special code attached to the driver and vehicle (Meaning no other driver can use the bus without proper registration and check) and the state govt should set up a special task force to check and ensure regular maintenance. |
