What gave rise to Simon Ekpa's armed group in the South East was killing of peaceful protesters. From 2016 till 2021, the Nigerian Police force killed and maimed protesting youths in their numbers. Mind you, most of these groups where unarmed and carried only flags. Fast-forward to 2024, Armed groups now open fire on Police check points including moving convoys. The same mistake is being repeated by killing of #endbadgovernance protesters in the north. If the country is managed by responsible politicians, there will be no protest of any form anywhere. Whether the protest is peaceful or violent, it all boils down to the fact that people are hungry and angry. It will be unwise to continue killing protesters in the north because when any armed group springs up, the police may become targeted as it is happening in the South East currently

The people who protested peacefully were people under Nnamdi Kanu. They stopped their protest when Kanu was arrested and they all went underground as military started killing them.

What happened about Ekpa is what no Igbo man knows about, many people are saying that he has never been part of ipob, as soon as Nnamdi was arrested, someone brought ekpa from somewhere and is using him to destabilise the region. The two groups are not same at all.

Simeon Ekpa is an agent of the ruling class plus foreign state agencies.
That's why, presumably under directions from ( above?), Finland cannot extradite him.

He's useful for achieving the west Africa agenda of the (***, ask Senator Guetz of US).
His job description is like what was given to the Fulani: keep your region in perpetual terrorism, until we get to phase 3.

He's a well trained master of deception and propaganda.

That's propaganda. He is working to get more SE youths killed. He is being used to keep the region in turmoil. Locking up the real leader of the group without charges is also another indicator that they want to clear the fields for ekpa to operate without hindrance.
