Every sector Dangote entered, he bosses it and blows out all competition via special privileges from the govt.

In the case of oil and gas, Buhari and cohorts had fronted Dangote to build the refinery so that majority of the govt revenue will be routed through that process.

That is the back-bone that Tinubu is trying to break.

The power players in the oil and gas industry will never allow Dangote to just come in gain control of the flow of major chunk of Nigeria's revenue. .

He will not win that battle. . The best Dangote can achieve is to compete with others, source his crude from abroad, or divest and sell the refinery.

Atiku should rest.
Just imagine what you are supporting, what stops the powers that be in the oil n gas sector to build their own refinery all this while if they meant well for Nigeria?, when dangote was struggling to raise funds to build the refinery why didn't they invested in it so that dangote no go choo alone?,we Nigerians suffer never really do us.

Dangote still import cement into Nigeria

NNPCL knows the refinery is not yet operating at full capacity. By the time they stop importation. Dangote himself may result to importation of refined oil to meet up to local demand

Since we don't know how much dangote has realized from the sale of diesel and jet A1. One must be careful. We don't the know the amount of liters he is supplying, whether he is able to supply sufficient diesel and aviation fuel before we stop importation and rely on his refinery

Things need to be well considered so that he would not hold the whole country to ransom

Dangote refinery is not yet working at full capacity. He can't meet up with local demand.

I can imagine the confusion in the head of Nigerians right now. Anyone or anything Tinubu supports, be very careful to support. Anyone or anything Tinubu supports, be very careful too. 2 different versions of demon dey manipulate una.
If them give una alternative now, una go say e no get structure

Can someone explain why what Atiku is saying is wrong or not good. Can someone explain what is meant that Dangote is having monopoly in the cement and now oil sector. Is it a trend to use 'monopoly" like a title whenever Dangote is mentioned? ... as in his other titles... billionaire Dangote .... Dangote Africa's richest man? Has it now come to this?

The FG has bent backwards for foreign companies to set up shop in Nigeria ... to exploit our human and natural resources ... for their benefit and add very little or nothing to our development ... to our economy but yet we shout good development .... foreign investment ... will bring jobs ... no criticisms. But here we are.... our own ... and we come alive to pull him down. How are we different from crabs in a barrel? Hypocrites everywhere.

Since when are we supposed to be fighting for Dangote's interest?

When the government was patronizing and giving him favours, did he remember us, the people?

So dangote refinery not working is an advantage to Nigeria or wat?wat is really wrong wit people like u.is dangote d source of ur brokenness?oga go work hard n make ur money instead of hating.dont forget that refinery is currently employing thousands of Nigeria youth n it will stop d need to use our scarce fx to buy products abroad. It is ignorance to believe oil and gas business us abt importing products n nothing else
Am not a poor man by any measure, bro. I earned my resources via sheer ingenuity.

Dangote refinery should work. . But, his victim card can't catch me.

He is one of the reasons Nigeria is heavily messed up, and milked dry to where it is today.

So look at this challenge from both ends. He can't just be the giant tree in the Nigeria oil and gas space and be controlling major share of the country's revenue stream suddenly. Like he did in some others.

The policies are not completely favouring him now as usual. . And he can see viable competition coming . . That is why he is crying up and down.

I pray his refinery works. . But I am sure that other refineries will emerge beside it.

Cabals running Buhari govt wanted to use Dangote to keep controlling the country's main money. That's why you see NNPCL pulling out it's stakes gradually. . Things are not going according to plans.

*** The present govt is demanding that he should prepare to run his new company through creativity and competitive strategy, and he has never been used to that, hence the drama . Other players will come into that space soon.

The focus is not on Atiku but on Dangote refinery. Keep aside what you think about Atiku, why not focus on what he said instead?
Base on what he said, Atiku is right. Nigerians are suffering right now, if Dangote refinery will help in bringing down the price of fuel and increase our forex, why not support him? We must not allow hatred blind us . Forget about the alledged monopoly for now, Nigerians want the prices of things dropped, if The refinery will help us,then let the government support it.
We can't be fighting our own and expect foreigners to invest in our country

Atiku don dey talk again!

As if his own time as VP was not filled with its own failures.

Now he wants to play savior for Dangote? Make we hear word!

This man is just looking for relevance, while the real issues remain unsolved. Na today? Let's focus on real leaders, not recycled politicians!

How so? Did Dangote promise that PMS price will be reduced when he starts producing PMS? Heck, did he promise that he will even sell to Nigerians directly?

In case, you didn't know, we are playing into the hands of the Northern oligarchs and giving them the reins to control the country's economy for the next 50 years. Dangote is a front. Which can be easily weaponized.

It's never in our collective interests, my friend.
Tribalism is the string that always pull us back as a nation, the second is religious bigotry. Well, as for price.. government will be able to regulate price & quality.. and they'll stop paying trillions too for subsidy

Why is Atiku advocating for Dangote? Were there not 4 refineries in Nigeria before? Has he ever uttered a word concerning the rehabilitation and functions of these refineries? Oh, he has suddenly realized that Nigerians are suffering. Where was he before? He is definitely a stake holder in that Dangote refinery alongside other Fulani thieves who have hijacked the resources of the country. They have continued to sabotage every effort to resuscitate the other refineries because of their selfish desires to own Nigeria. Tinubu should continue to make them cry. If they won't allow Nigeria's refineries to work, theirs too will not work. Awon weyrey.

All these is conjectures, why can't all this questions n doubts be put to dangote himself to address?,we are doing ourselves not dangote mind you, eventually dangote refinery will make its money by other means while Nigeria wobbles in shambles.
