No normal country pays for people to go to another country en-masse under the guise of religion. If anyone wants to go for Hajj or to Jerusalem, let them use their own funds! Nigeria can't keep wasting money on things that don't benefit the economy.

A case of misplaced priority from the government. Whoever wants to engage in pilgrimage to wherever should do so using his/her own financial resources. Pumping scarce financial resources into the economy of another country is not just a dumb move but an evil one at that. I know people like Chinkoalhaji47 and co will still come and give us excuses for this.
