A video of students from the University Preparatory Secondary School (UPSS), a popular private secondary school in Benin City, has caused a stir online. The video shows the students arriving at their prom in expensive cars and lavish attire.

These students made a grand entrance, arriving at their school like kings and queens, which has sparked mixed reactions online. While some people admired their display, others criticized it, arguing that such extravagance is inappropriate for students of their age and unnecessary for a simple prom.

However, one person on X, formerly known as Twitter, pointed out that UPSS is one of the most expensive private secondary schools in Edo State, Benin City. Given this, they noted that the parents of these students are likely very wealthy and can afford such a lavish lifestyle for their children.
