I don't know Sowore from a can of paint other than he runs Sahara Reporters and has been a vocal opponent of the corrupt establishment. He has at least accomplished that much in the way of a resume for himself. That is more than I can say of the rank of politicians that have been in office many of whom have never manufactured or created a single thing aside from leeching from the Nigerian government in one way or the other. Also, he has not occupied a political office in at least the last 25 years of Nigeria's democracy, more than the years before then, so to me, he has yet to sully himself with the system of corruption that is Nigeria.

Now, if you ask me if I would rather recycle a proven failure corrupt bag of failure Nigeria has had in the last 25 years, my answer is an absolute no! If you asked me whether I would be willing to take a chance on a complete novice who has not been tainted by all of Nigerian politics— never occupied any position in government —, my answer with yes. Now, if you asked me if I would be even more willing to take my chances on someone who is not only untainted by all of the mess that is Nigerian politics in the last 25 years but also understands what needs to be done at this point given the clear condition of things in the country and is willing to sign up as a declared servant of the people — taking on only those tasks that are to be benefit of the people of Nigeria(the ordinary Nigerian rather than the politicians and others goons), my answer would be absolutely Yes. Now, who are those Nigerians who fit that bill and where can we find them?

1. Yes, it is "easy" but obviously not as easy since none of those you mentioned did it with so much fervor as this Sowore guy can be reported to have done it for well over a decade now. So, yeah!

2. Earlier you mentioned what you call Presidential Steeze, and the same you pointed out how exceedingly meaningless that turned out. So, please tell us the worth of this [i]minimal decorum[/i] you loud on now?

3. Dino Melaye and Wike are examples of career politicians; they both jumped into political seats right out of college without any actual experience outside of the political circle. There is more than enough evidence to show that such people are generally useless to Nigerians and their needs as governance is concerned.

As for Sowore, I cannot fault him since he has not been a part of the tried, tested, and proven worthless group of politicians who have either been elected or been a part of the Nigerian political circle for the last 25 years, at least! You may not like it but I cannot condemn him for being a Journalist and good at what he does.
