What do you expect when great talents are being disqualified due to alleged wickedness of sports administrator and their bosses, corruption , bias , favoritism and greed?

The representatives were not really prepared mentally and emotionally. The better teams won the medals. 🏅 Perhaps next time we will be ready for the Olympics. Nigeria My Motherland.

I'm so disappointed that Nigeria didn't win anything, lack of adequate preparation and government support is responsible for our abysmal performance.

One question:

Did the best represent Nigeria?

If an olympic representative has 4 years to train, why would you blame the government for their preparation. Some are even professionals that have clubs (abroad) and train daily, just like you go to work daily. They should have done better on individual competitions.
The Nigerian body may not even have the facilities that their clubs do have.

Talking about preparations, the All African games that was just some months back in Ghana, would have been used for training and selecting best athletes.
I saw sportsmen that crashed out at the preliminary session of All African games representing Nigeria again in Olympics. Which magic do you think they'd use to get medals when they couldn't get one within Africa not long ago?

Maybe there's corruption and connections involved in the selection process.


It was a disappointing outing for Nigeria, but let their be talent hunt, and National sports festival should bring out talents to prepare for international competitions, not relying on older sportsmen and women living in past glory.

This is both disgraceful and shameful. It's a reflection of the state of the nation. A nation with so much capabilities yet nothing to show for it only brings shame and disgrace to all. Let's sit up Both leaders a day people alike

The we need to start to prioritize excellence over nepotism, hardwork over connection.
