Insured deposits is usually a function of law, and not just a policy statement, so to alter it, the consent of the lawmakers is required.
If you are appointed the head of ndic today, even though you have it as an idea, you can't just change it, that's what I mean by talk to your lawmakers.

So Corporate firms can't talk to the Lawmakers if they know it's a serious issues...

I think you misunderstood the word talk to your lawmakers, I'm using it in the general term, obviously only 2person will be representing you and that isn't sufficient to pass any law.
What I'm trying to say is the issue is within the power of the lawmakers, so anyone can raise the issue with them, individuals, corporates, executive, etc, so I'm not referring to you as a person.

This your argument is not tenable at all. The president is a southerner, CBN governor is also a southerner, the banking and finance sector is managed by mostly southerners. Why would a southern controlled sector be biased against its own?

Unity Bank and Providus Bank (both Northern banks) were given soft landing to merge.

Why didn't they give Heritage bank (Southerner bank) the same soft landing?

The money was recently reviewed from 500k to 5m, I think around April/May.
Insurance coverage will only try to cover most deposits, it can't cover all deposits, this no be issue wey we supposed drag govt or any bank for.

if Federal govt open bank, and loads of people begin deposit money and go as far as depositing more than 20m , and after a few hear them close the bank knowing that alll. They have to refund is 5m irrespective of how much you deposited, is that not a scam?

Banking laws do not permit fg or CBN to run commercial banking.
Banks license do not get revoked under a year of distress, it takes about 3/5yrs before the license is eventually withdrawn
It's not the whole deposit you have with a bank that is insured, if such is the case, bank directors might do as they like with depositors fund since they know there is an insurance company that will pay in case of liquidation, but since it's not all fund, the banks director will likely lose out as the assets will be liquidated and the big depositors will be treated as bank owners so they can get some compensation from the company's assets
