If you wait till war happens before ordering military equipment, you will not get it because manufacturers only produce one or two prototypes. They only do mass production when there is order. And the production may take six, eight or even ten years to deliver

That's why serious countries buy military equipments during peace time because war can break out any moment. Nigeria never expect Boko haram war.

Farmers have gone back to their land. 20,000 heavily armed Farm Rangers have been deployed. Meanwhile government approved ranches have kicked off.

Every country requires defence from external and internal aggression. If Nigeria did not have strong deterrent Russia would have carved a hole in the North, Cameroon or its secessionists would have carved out space in the East and South South. While internal secessionists would have carved out their own territories within Nigeria.

Let's avoid polar thinking - it is possible for a leader to be applauded for certain policies while being criticised for others. It is only in Nigeria that we are looking for leaders who will be successful at everything.
