What I read online is totally different from the real situation on ground.
I can saw with all boldness that the Refinery is pumping out millions of litres of Diesel and Aviation fuel everyday.
Just last week Friday,I decided to take a trip from Ajah through epe to Ijebu-ode so I could link the Lagos-ibadan expressway,and what I saw was mind buggling.
I saw a line of more than 400 trailers queueing from the second toll gate at Ijebu-ode.
They were waiting for their turns to load these petroleum products,I was informed the Trailer park in the Refinery was filled with tankers and the trucks had to look for a place to park.
I daresay people in Ajah don't know what's happening in the Dangote Refinery axis cos the tankers don't go through the Lekki-Epe expressway to pick up fuel.
Only very ignorant people will believe all these negative propaganda against the Refinery,work is ramping up around that axis.
My own concern is the opportunities that axis presents for discerning Investors.
A piece of real estate on that corridor will be worth 3 to 4 times in the next few years.

Processing of crude oil means refining it to other usable fuels like petrol, diesel, aviation fuel. Crude oil is extracted from the ground. It’s a natural occurring mineral.

I don't trust Dangote to favour the masses. His foray into cement is a point of reference. I won't be surprised if fuel doubles by the time Dangote is given a giant share of the market. How much is cement now ?

Please, how much are other cements prices compared to Dangote cement? Why are the others not cheap? I need education on this please. There are many variables that drive production cost, chief among them is energy. When your government took the dollar sky high and the cost of diesel doubled, what do you think will happen? Most time people unfairly target Dangote. At least he is not the only one in that market. What happened to all the noise Bua made about cement price reduction months ago,? It is simply not feasible. At least, Dangote is investing in Nigeria and creating employment. How many of the people in government including Tinubu have invested here? People will just be shouting Dangote monopoly. Why don't you build a refinery yourself?

You seem not to understand the concept of interest. Dangote and Tinubu don't have the same interest when it comes to fuel. While Tinubu might not be a saint he has the political obligation to control the price of fuel or else he would be put under pressure by the masses like some tried to do with the protest. Dangote on the other hand as a full-fledged capitalist has no such obligation to consider the masses. His interest is maximum profit possible and I don't blame him. And don't be deceived by the seeming public fight between Dangote and Bua about prices. It might all be a ruse. Do you know what they call cabal in business and their theatrics? Nigerians need to be smarter than this. Are you 100% sure that Dangote and BUA are not working hand in glove ? Are they not both northerners? Dey play ! For me, I voted Tinubu to control the price of cement and fuel. If Dangote can maintain current fuel prices I don't have problem with him. But I doubt he will. I would be shocked if he doesn't double or triple prices in few years time if given a free hand to control Nigerias fuel. The way they handled cement, a commodity that is 80% sourced in Nigeria, is still fresh in my mind

Nigerian cement Industry in Nigeria with the hope of having cheaper cement compared to imported ones. He spearheaded the ban on imported cement. At least most of its components are found in Nigeria. What did he do with it? Are we enjoying the cheap cement? And then you think capitalist businessmen care about the masses and are better than politicians . You are either mischievous or naive. Oga, no difference. For now Nigerians can't afford high cost of fuel. Dangotes fuel will end up being more expensive than imported fuel from . Later when it happens you then start abusing Tinubu. You better use your sense before Dangote uses it for you.

Please which local commodity that is 100% locally sourced did not double or triple in price during Tinubu regime? How much was a bag of rice, a tuber of yam etc prior to Tinubu administration? I am never convinced about monopoly shouts from different quarters. Your analysis between Bus and Dangote remains another conspiracy theory at best. I mentioned the cost of energy as a key drive to products cost. I work in manufacturing too. When Tinubu floated the naira and the exchange rate increase, the cost of diesel went further up. It means, if a truct was transporting cement to a location at 50k before, it now 80k or more. So why should the price of cement for example, not go up. The beverage I produce is more than double the initial price. Is Dangote or Bua or the northernals as you are trying to portray them, producing Coke, fanta or pepsi? Have the prices of those not more than double during Tinubu time. Why are you not calling those companies out like you do Dangote?

Look, we are running a free market economy, anyone is free to set up companies and set their prices, then compete for the market. Dangote was producing noodles before, did he survive the market? He ended up selling that line to indomie who are the market leaders. Did anyone accuse indomie of monopoly? No, then why? We all know that, there are politicians who don't want the status quo to change in the oil sector. Tell me why they are insistent on importation of fuel when we now have the capacity to refine it locally? In this very report, it was mentioned that, 8 refineries are ready to work, Dangote has only one out of the eight. So, where is the so much voiced monopoly? At least the Benin refinery cried out this week about crude shortage too.

By the way, you said Tinubu job is to control prices, kindly tell him hid policies are rather killing us with high prices. He is not doing his job
