Why not address the issue instead of insult. On this particular matter the guy you quoted is right. To claim a membership of a particular party there are procedures which display of such party's symbols and mere declaration publicly is never part of. Until and unless you can claim that they registered in their various wards and membership cards issued the case definitely lacks merit

In the court of law,emotion has no room, you argue based on the relevant authority. If you're too emotional that you don't care about the laid down procedures and laws you'll always give politicians chance to mess things up.
