Why can't we have a Lagos-like city in the Southeast Nigeria too?

People who originated from Southeast region of Nigeria have and still claim to develop Lagos as a state and as a city, they single-handedly developed Thailand, they developed India, they developed South Africa, they developed America, they developed Asia, they developed Russia, but I am just curious about why they have not developed a Lagos-like City in the SouthEast Nigeria. Remember, they also claim Nigeria will get better only and only if Nigerians allow them to rule and develop Nigeria as a whole.

Note: That the population of people of this region is made of 90% Dollar Billionaires (as they use to claim), and should not be incapable of doing anything they decide to do.

Why can't my people from that side who single-handedly developed Lagos not develop a Lagos-like city in their own SouthEast region of Nigeria too?

Why can't we have a viable city in the Southeast region of Nigeria too where every Nigerian will want to travel to, establish a family, personalize it and call it their home for its hospitality and business opportunities. Not a place of terror, where terrorists usually have there field days and businesses close up every Mondays for fear of terrorists attack and business men hide under their beds for fear of getting murdered every Mondays? Why?

This is an honest question and I want somebody to answer me.

Its no big deal ,Anambra is close to that only if our stubborn brothers will come back and invest there or we have a restructured or divided Nigeria

They will tell you that FG built Lagos and FG is not contributing anything to their region.
Same them will tell you that every household has a billionaire but they can't build anything substantial in that region other than their houses.

My problem with you yorubas is that you don't travel. Remove lagos that was built by national revenue and tell me if the south west compares to the south east in development.

South east has far better urban centers beautiful and pleasing to the eyes... You'll struggle to match Enugu, Owerri,Awka, Onitsha and even umuahia in aesthetics and ambience!

I don't even want to mention Portharcourt in the old Eastern region that was NEVER FCT and is following lagos closely behind. Abeg talk another thing.

There's nothing specials about Lagos that can't be achieved by any state or in any region. Just make your state or region suitable for investment purpose if not, your so-called billionaires will continue investing in Lagos and remain permanent there even if we regionalise the country or divide. Lagos has what it takes to have leveled up with developed states in European countries but corruption get level sha.

Yoruba did not build Lagos.Lagos was built by the collective efforts of FG and Nigerians in general as our former capital.
Is like asking why can't SouthWest build their own Abuja.
