tishbite42:Government itself is built on verbal agreements. If not, show me the agreement you have with Tinubu to stabilise and improve the economy in written form I cannot reduce what was not there in the first place Peace |

ivolt:He's competing against exporters and that's why he should be supported. This is not about monopoly but economic priority and which is the cheaper option short/longterm. There is nothing bad in asking for special treatment in special cases like this. |

tishbite42:It seems you are unaware that constitution can be in written format like Nigeria's or unwritten like the UK's. Party manifesto? You make me laugh. Do you realize a written contract must be given consent by both parties before it can become legally binding? So, can you show me how many voters come in contact with the manifesto and how many sign it? IQ indeed |

DeLaRue:Sometimes before you write, take your time to find out the right information. Basic public information has it that Nigeria has crude allocation for local refining. What any sane Nigerian should ask is what has happened to that before castigating Dangote Babangidapikin: |

jaxxy:He cannot compete against exporters when he is not an exporter of crude. He is an importer. The only support he can get is from the government and helping him will reduce government revenues. If the government comes out to say that it will reimburse exporters for any loss in revenue due to trading with Dangote at lower price(subsidy), all the exporters will be jostling to supply Dangote due to the easier logistics. Anything outside of that, Dangote will have to wait until Nigeria crude production hits at least 2 million barrels per day when NNPC will have enough to go round. |

Kukutenla:Lord have mercy Look at the half-baked intellectual I have been arguing with 😂😂😂 Man took the word 'unwritten' in its literal meaning Unwritten simply means it is not codified or structured and so anything can be added to it from time to time without any stress. That's why you don't hear anything like Constitution amendment in the UK. An unwritten constitution is a document. Only thing is that its contents are not codified, cohesive and structured in a book like a written constitution. The Magna Carta is an example of an unwritten constitution. I'm sure it is not a verbal agreement or promise 😂😂😂😂 Examples of written constitutions include the Code Napoleon, the US constitution and that of Nigeria I'm cooking now. I don't have the time to school you further People like you are the reasons why MNK called Nigeria a zoo |

tishbite42:I'm still struggling to see how you treatise negates my position. So the UK constitution is written now and signed by all the citizens and UK Prime Minister as a contract abi? I think you need to face your cooking. You're writing in the nonsense |

tishbite42:You quoted me first because you did not understand the difference between an agreement between a govt and its citizens and a contractual agreement between private parties. I've been taking the pains to educate you since though it's no mean feat seeing how hard you are at learning. Now you are bringing something irrelevant as written and unwritten constitution as if that changes the substance of my argument. The UK constitution is unwritten so there is no legal document to "sign" if it were even possible. The Nigerian constitution is written but it is not a contract itself between the government and the people. It is instead the law guiding the social contract between the govt and the people. If you still do not understand this simple fact, Ah!! I shake head for you. |

ivolt:Sorry I ment to say "against importer cabals" because we are currently importing fuel so obviously they won't want fuel refined locally. The issue is the importation of fuel is not feasible because of the high cost hence the introduction of subsidy and even tho government says they have removed subsidy it has come back again even worse through the back door. The least this incompetent government can do is support Dangote to so they can stop paying back door subsidy and at same time reduce the cost of fuel for Nigerians. Anything else is sabotage and ripping Nigerians to enrich a few cabal importers for no reason.. |

DaddyJapan:Yeye analysis. Is Dangote and Shell, Mobil and other oil companies operating in the same space? Can shell or Mobil build such a huge refinery in Nigeria? Dangote has built the biggest refinery in Africa and this one is claiming there are bigger boys in the oil refinery business. How many staff does Mobil and shell have in Nigeria compared to how many staff Dangote refinery will have when it begins operating at full capacity? |

Otamendi99:Oya show me shell and Mobil refineries that has the capacity of Dangote refinery. Shell only refinery in Asia, the Bukom refinery in Asia gas a capacity of 237,000 barrels per day. That's about 1/3 of Dangote's refinery. We can never appreciate our own and exhibit the "pull him down" syndrome. |

What I understand from this man is that you cannot start a business and totally plan to depend on your rich parent's support. When they choose not to support you even if they have obligations to do so, you don't need to cry. What if you don't have a parent to cry to? |

wirinet:Tws, dangote has a big refinery one only, total capacities of all shell or mobil is 10x dat of dangotes and all of dem need feed stock to operate. Nobody is pulling anyone down. Dis companies have already existing contracts. Shld d cancel it and den attend to him, thereby bringing lawsuits to dia door step. Think braa |

You are the number one. The politicians, the cabals and the civil service that killed all the refineries are the same frustrating Dangote refineries. They dont only frustrate, they want to kill it as they killed the existing ones. Together with their partners in Europe and America. And Nigerians continue to die |
