I grew up around Elephant and Castle, well farmiliar with 56. It doesn't exist anymore.

I also grew up around New kent road, East street market, Camberwell. Kennignton, Tower bridge road, Old Kent road, London bridge road, Bermondsey, Surrey Quays Queens road Peckham. So what are you on about?

When I had a thing or two to do in New York few years ago, I just entered Walmart and bought a nice and comfortable tent. Spread it tax-free around 5th avenue and enjoyed myself.

Very expensive. I took my family to Consulate General of Nigeria in NY to get their naija passports done. I drove for about five hours from NH. Family asked me we spend the night in a hotel in NY. I was like, shey you dey whine me ni? Spend a night for NY...No way! Omo, I tear race comot NY after we were done at the consulate..

All depends on where you are and your situation there. The average immigrant to the US is not living in a box room like that, and I'm sure you can find cheap motels rather than stay at a place like that unless you're trying to stay in Manhattan while being broke.

The second part of the equation is where is he now and what is his situation? If he is doing a lot better then the sacrifice was worth it abi?

I am not sure, might be co's business not going well. I moved outta London and that area years ago. Last time i was around that area, i think 56 is now turned into a bicycle repair shop.

1) Were we talking about $38? I did a screenshot to show that the price he said he paid years ago $80 can cover hotel as at today much less then many years ago.

2) Why would I book hotel I’m not trying to stay in?

3) I usually don’t stay in cheap hotels out of principle. Because hotel to me means I’m on vacation or traveling for leisure so I’ve to stay in a great place. Therefore I’m not booking a cheap hotel to prove anything to you.

New York is very expensive. I slept in a hotel room that could hardly fit my height for about $150 a night. Omo I japa danu the next day..

For 80 dollars I will head to wood and furniture market, arrange a carpenter, get enough plywood, bucket to easy myself, mattress bed sheet pillow and more. I will still have change left.
