I heard in a Barber's association meeting someone was making a suggestion dat since minimum wage is now 70k dey should also increase their service from 1500 to 3000.......
Just 15% of Nigerians are government workers, will average private school teachers also receive 70k? Then d owner will increase school fee to 100k per term.....
Reduce fuel price to 300/L and see magic.....
Let there be consequential increase na...

We go know soon know if the entire FGN workforce that is less than 2% if the total workforce in Nigeria will be the only one patronising these goods and services.

No one go tell dem to bring down their prices..when majority of the populace can't afford whatever they are doing

Nigerian inflation is an abnormal one,it's mainly cost pull.. that increment cannot really distort the economy neither negatively or positively..... majority of Nigerians still don't have much disposable incomes.....it changes nothing even okada riders warm more than that monthly.

A reduction in fuel price is never the solution to such problem...Crude is an internationally sold commodity and the value is dictated by the market...
We driving towards CNG , the earlier this conversion the better. It's even more better we sell 70% of our crude for foreign exchange, than refining to be consumed locally, when their is a better and cheaper option. Mind you , Crude is the only thing we produce to a reasonable extent as a Nation.

I heard on Arise TV this morning that the current minimum wage is an equivalent of $346, and they are already proposing an equivalent of $500 in the coming days due to plans to remove subsidies in the future.
See how countries plan.

the price of all these facilities increased without a new minimum wage.
And yes they've been struggling with lack of customers, increasing the wage creat some level of stability.
