When will you people stop this bullshit?? This is why common South Africa has no respect for us because Nigerians like you act comment illiterate savages online and expose us to ridicule. What the actual fvck is the meaning of this rubbish you have posted?
Well, go to Alaba or Computer village or any Igbo dominated market in Lagos if you reside in Lagos, or Challenge in Ilorin, if it's Ilorin and see first hand how Easterners are usually at race to swindle any emptor. Much as careful as you may attempt, they'll go to lengths to dupe you and still try to laugh it off later, telling you you lusegad. It's being smart to them. And you're surprised SA are ridiculing us, when they they all over the place doing the same thing they're here. Your people don't do rubbish and you turn around wanting them pampered.

Better correct the misdeeds first before expecting erasion of embarrassment.

All these lamba on social media may be real life situations at times but what happens to help the poor around him instead of going to the market. This can even endanger his life

Crude as the method is, people are trying to survive. If you go round Nigeria looking for a Saint before you can help, I bet you, you won't find a single one. So just do what you must and let their conscientious judge them. That way, you would've taught them a lesson they won't quickly forget. None of us is truly righteous.
They didn't deserve anything good.. period

I disagree.

That doesn't excuse their behavior.

This one small tin nah. Sebi you see your money collect back. Have you ever experienced a petrol attendant shortchanging you? There are petrol stations I've marked in Lagos. Don't buy fuel at Conoil ikeja along (formerly national) and the one beneath it, when coming out of the local airport to hit the ikeja along road. Don't buy fuel at the FO Station at oba akran avenue and mobil opposite Guinness. If you must buy fuel there, just alight from your vehicle and watch until the last drop enters your vehicle. If you allow anyone to distract you or block your view while the other attendant is dispensing fuel, o ti rogo niyę. Na half fuel go get.

They'd also tell you they're pouring injector cleaner into your tank for a token. Before you pay for the injector cleaner, make sure you collect it from them and be sure it's intact and never been opened otherwise, na empty can dem go insert inside your tank. You go think say something dey pour inside. The day I caught them, they didn't believe their eyes. The attendant couldn't say pim. They were just begging.
My goodness

This practical observation is not surprising to me at all and to any Nigerian who is a sincere person!!

It just help validate my long held opinion that we are what we are right now as a society because majority of us are as bad as the politicians we all blame all day. The difference is just the opportunity to practice the greed and wickedness at a higher level.

nothing i have not seen or experienced before. sympathy for the poor in nigeria is dangerous because they see you as an alakowe sucker to be fleeced. in the right circumstances, several of them will have no problem with murdering you for your money. whatever you think you have done for them in the past does not matter.

Poco has detailed some experiences she has had in the past when people she did business with regularly thought they had an upper hand and showed colour
interesting

Nigerians and their leaders are one and the same. the leaders didn't fall from the sky. I keep saying that.

My conscience is not strong like this, sha. Maybe it's because I know I won't live forever. So, what is the point ?

Very true, people from South East always feel they got a higher IQ than you and so can easily cheat you. Anywhere you see ibo man there must be cheating, then they will call it smartness

Survival or wickedness added to greed and foolishness?

The man would have gifted 20k. The irresponsible woman lost the agreed amount and the unexpected windfall. If the man told her his real intention, she would be swearing at herself.

There are too many decent, honest and hardworking Nigerians everywhere you go, whose economic situation never diminishes their pride and integrity. Or do you not read in the news about those who were rewarded for return millions of Naira or dollars misplaced by their owners?

It is sad that some have allowed greed overtake their sense of reasoning.

If he did not have his camera on, they would have ripped him off, after his act of kindness. Yeye people!

He would find me one!

As much as we want to blame the government for everything, the average Nigerian is more of a problem to his fellow than a government.

The government would tax you, buy fellow Nigerian would sell poison to you just to make profit.
Fellow Nigerian would want to sell to you at 170 percent profit.

Fellow Nigerian Nigerian would want to sell a dead horse to you at the rate of a brand new one if not more.

There are exceptions and I am proud to be one of them.
