Only time I am supporting the Tinubu government. Monopoly should not be made to happen in the oil industry. Nigeria cannot be at the mercy of one man in the oil industry and will be a costly mistake . We have seen the impact of monopoly in cement prices, sugar and pasta that an intervention had to be made. cc helinues nlpolicewoman Mercisharelove TheBreastSucker Emekaonline

How can there be monopoly when NNPCL has 4 refineries and other refineries coming up. Simply tell FG to complete the rehabilitation of the refineries and start refining crude oil |

Ttalk:Four refineries zero production that will never work ...if imports are banned then Dangote will have monopoly. Even if the Malta plant is linked to the Lagos boys it is still better than one man controlling the entire industry. |

kanupapilo:So NNPC MALTA Heist is what we should support |
| Re: Nigerian Should Support Lagos City Boys In Preventing Dangote Refinery Monopoly by kanupapilo(op): 11:26pm On Aug 16, 2024 |
strangest:This is a no win scenario for the average Nigerian and will not result in lower fuel prices. Even if the Malta heist is stopped then Dangote has full monopoly which he is trying to achieve and can charge 200 million citizens any price he wants like he does in cement, sugar and pasta. Nigerians have never benefited in any industry he has held monopoly. |

For NNPCL to feel threatened by Dangote's refinery, and label it monopoly, you people should know that there was no plan to make any refinery work in the first place. |
| Re: Nigerian Should Support Lagos City Boys In Preventing Dangote Refinery Monopoly by kanupapilo(op): 12:01am On Aug 17, 2024 |
Parable007:Look up the meaning of monopoly. The NNPCL has a responsibilty not to hand the oil refining sector to one man. This is a private business and should go to market and source for it's feeder products. The government has done its part by providing billions in discounted dollars through controversial circumstances through CBN with Godwin Emefiele. |

kanupapilo:NNPC is already a monopoly that’s why they won’t repair the refineries…. Let them go and fight Dangote |
| Re: Nigerian Should Support Lagos City Boys In Preventing Dangote Refinery Monopoly by kanupapilo(op): 12:54am On Aug 17, 2024 |
strangest:NNPC is the regulator of the industry. If NNPC had not looted billions of dollars in Turn Around Maintenance (TAM) the four refineries would have been working then they could be considered a monopoly. The NNPC is finally playing the part of a regulator in preventing a monopoly. |

kanupapilo:So who's sponsoring you like this, since Benjamin Hundeyin's foreign sponsors have failed. Can Tinubu be fighting Nigeria by attacking Dangote Refinery, since Lagos is his personal property? If you're patriotic, I urge you to support Dangote Refinery, it's going to be the mysterious turn around for positive changes in Nigeria and Africa. Don't be used, be wise! Dangote will not stop you from selling Petroleum fuels, but we must get it at affordable prices. The oil cabals must fall! |

kanupapilo:That statement is evident that he was about to do something monopolistic. Before this refinery venture, He should have owned oil wells capable of meeting his refinery's 40% crude requirement by exploring either privately or with government backing, areas with high possible yield of crude oil, but they wanted a northern state. But he want a greedy monopolistic NNPC that has held Nigerians hostage to yield to his demands. That won't happen. He also want Nigerians to fight for him when he has oppressed them with high price and substandard products from his other industries. That won't happen either. Until Nigeria elect a fierce individual who is able to dismantle the cabal and tell the money bags in NNPC and it affiliate bodies to cool off in a prison yard while taking action to sanitize the management of our national resources, we are never going to get it right. But then, we would have preferred Dangote refinery working to this face off with government backed NNPC because it will be easier to call dangote a wicked business man as many has opined than being lied to by the government daily about fuel subsidy. If proper audit is carried out at NNPC, which the body and it beneficiary won't permit, Nigerians will pause everything they are doing and face the bullets till the structure is pulled down. |
