Who is he fronting for?
You can’t get 25% of diesel contracts for Nigeria and discretionary crude exports by yourself in Nigeria

And these huge numbers started only after Tinubu came in

They have taken over our economic powerhouse... it was a brutish takeover..

In the process, they subject everyone to all we are facing right now..

Fuel scarcity used to be a once in a while event in our country but right now it has become our daily reality for more than year now..🤔

I ask again how are you all okay with all these nonsense..?!

But they say we shouldn't talk, we should rather hope for a better tomorrow without queues.. a tomorrow when they are done making what they set out to make..

This sounds like a cover-up diversionary story, i.e. placing someone inconsequential as the face of the real syndicate. Obviously Abdulkabir Adisa Aliu would be nicely compensated for this.

Given the massive leap in import figures from Malta, I strongly believe someone at the very top is behind the operation.
You are smart

It's a made up name...

There is no such name as Abdulkabir in Muslim names..(it's simply just Kabir.. no Abdul is added to Kabir).

A shoddy job done to divert everyone's attention from what they are doing to this country

Who says crime does not pay in Nigeria?

Matrix Energy. A 2012 investigation identified Matrix as one of several oil traders who fraudulently charged the government up to 23.1 billion naira ($11.5 million) in refined petroleum products it never delivered. The company’s CEO Abdulkabir Aliu was arrested for fraud, though the status of his case is unclear. In late 2015, Matrix nevertheless received a license to import refined products.

The above aside, I am beginning to think we are reading this all wrong.
I think Malta is simply acting as a conduit for Russia's sanction-bursting trade. cool

The Ministry for Transport has neither denied nor confirmed allegations that ships transporting Russian oil have been conducting ship-to-ship transfers near Maltese waters, potentially circumventing international sanctions.

P.S - Many countries, including duplicitous ones in the EU, are currently trying to get their hands on discounted Russia petroleum products.

Peter Obi was right for saying that Nigeria is a crime scene

Just imagine the level tinubu and his men could go to destroy this country with greed . Are they not satisfied with all the wealth of this country that they've stolen and stashed away in foreign lands ? What a useless president and cronies.

Thieves
Though Dangote is his own devil in this crime scene, but he invested His own loot in Nigeria, but I am flabbergasted as tinubu entourage of career criminals are frustrating him because they see him as competition in their money laundering scheme cum oil facade.

Nigeria is doomed under APC!

There's no conjecture in the first place just plain mischief and criminal defamation.

Those criminal defamers knew that Oando was not the importer but chose to deceive those already ignorant and filled with hatred.

Even the PECC was inaugurated recently few months ago so the attempt to link importation and the PECC are misleading and part of the mischief by losers in the election last year. Malta sells cheap petrol so it makes sense to import from Malta.
it makes sense to buy cheap fuel from Malta and resell to Nigerians x3 abi? Motor lo ma pa e danu.

According to this article,Mattrix handles about 25% of local consumption. The remaining 75% is there for Oando to dominate. You sound desper6to absolve Oando of any wrongdoing and that in itself is highly disturbing.

NNPCL is the problem of the Nigerian oil industry. Those guys don't want us to refine our own crude and be self sufficient because their of greed and corruption. That's why they have allowed our refineries to deteriorate and are also trying to prevent dangote refinery from functioning.

How can someone be an enemy to the progress of his own father's land?

It's only a black man that can do that to his own land, his people and his country. Just look around the whole of Africa, blacks are the ones being used by the same people that see them as sub-humans to destroy their own land, kill their people, make way for foreigners to steal their natural resources and keep their people in abject poverty.

When we the black race allow development to take place in their land so that their people can prosper? It seems they've forgotten that outside the shores of Nigeria they'll always be referred to as someone from the 3rd world irrespective of the greedy and corrupt wealth they amass.

The black man is becoming a curse to himself and his land, and it's really very sad!

This represents about 25 percent of Nigeria’s monthly PMS consumption going to a relatively small player with only 150 retail stations,” the insider said. The insider said Aliu is also leveraging his close relations with the top management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPCL) to secure crude oil cargoes from the national oil company for his company:

this small boy ?? shocked shocked
he must be a front for a top guy in NNPC. they have really ruined the country
He has been a billionaire since buharis time, you should see his house in Banana Island, he is not a small boy.

So he imported 25%, who imported the balance of 75%

If a small player is importing 25% then he is fronting for some one.

How did he even get into presidential economic council. If not tru someone influence
Re: Abdulkabir Adisa Aliu Imports Petrol From Malta, Russia - TheCable by Jogs1900: 7:55pm On Aug 16, 2024
Matrix is not a small player in the oil and gas energy.A company that has more than 150 retail outlets and 2 tank farms in Lagos and Warri. He has been a major player in the industry for more than 10 years. It’s not fair linking him with Tinubu because even Dangote is in the economic team.

After all the lies, they were only able to attribute 25% of local fuel imported to the matrix firm. Who brings in the remaining 75% ?

Matrix is a business man.he has been an active player in the industry for over a decade.I don’t know why they will call an entity with more than 150 retail outlets , tank farm in Lagos and Warri a small player in the industry. Our journalists just need to do more abeg.

Conflict of interest.

You expect such a person not to use his proximity to presidential powers to frustrate any attempt at local refining?

Or you think tinubu is not aware?
Tinubu is fully aware. He is the president.

I think every president on ground gets informed on their dealings. The president on sit will now have to participate and take charge by taking the lions share.

SmartyPants:
Conflict of which interests? Is the PECC a public office or a mere advisory council? Is it not one's status as a businessman that qualifies them to be on the council? Should then abandon said business?

Dangote's allegation was that directors in the NNPC have interests in blending plants. That is what we want to hear about not random businessmen who have a right to have such interests.
Dangote is even a member of the council.

Does it matter when the bottomline is still the same? And the bottomline is that Tinubu became the president and Nigerian started importing low grade fuel from Malta. The question is, what responsible for that?
