Crude as the method is, people are trying to survive. If you go round Nigeria looking for a Saint before you can help, I bet you, you won't find a single one. So just do what you must and let their conscientious judge them. That way, you would've taught them a lesson they won't quickly forget. None of us is truly righteous.

You are not helping the society if that's your belief and conviction. You don't reward dishonesty

Stop justifyng dishonesty. Stop the error of generalization. Stop projecting!

There are still honest people out there. There is news of them on Nairaland. If you're dishonest, or used to corruption, say so.

What is ridiculing in what I said. Who doesn't know that Northern business men have integrity while their Southern counterparts don't?
Yeah, I have seen some videos on tiktok that conform to your theory or assertion, I won't disagree. But good and bad people still exist in all regions, % may differ. I'm from the south, I hate cheating and dishonest. I don't even jump queues

Nigeria's problem is the rotten society. Honesty has been thrown into the thrash bin.

98 percent of Nigerians are crooks but they expect their leaders to be saints.
Until a majority of Nigerina are ethical and selfless, the country will continue to be the same.
Your leadership is a representation of who you are.
Most of them won't agree with you. They are quick to blame the leaders. Forgetting that , the leaders are products of our society.
An average Nigerian is ready to reap you off in any slightest opportunity.

These people may have endured all kinds of things he doesn't want to know about, so he should show a little more empathy. It reminds me of all the terrible things homeless people go through in America, and how people react to the behavior of homeless people they offer help. For example, some people may offer them food, and they ask for money instead. Those people get angry not knowing how many people have offered them food and put all kinds of horrible things in it.

He actually sounds like a douche because it's like he wants them to kiss his a** for being so generous with the "little people." And he shared the story with the world. If you really want to give, you do it. You don't think about petty stuff like this. Like, why even buy the fruit? Why not just give them the money?

I am 80% sure this tale is a fib and I can stake anything on it. We know the truth when we hear it. He just wanted to catch cruise on some other peoples experiences. Abeg make he go sit down. Hawkers can actually be fraudulent but this one here is a pure fib.

I support what the ops did.
We are all quick to blame the government whereas, an average Nigerian is a fraud and a fraudster.
If you lack integrity you have nothing. If let go your integrity for the sake of survival, you are dead already. Most Nigerians are walking corpses.
