If you know how the internet works, you would not use certain words in your responses here. I mean the inappropriate word by the client. You have a large presence online and I believe must of your potential clients do some background research online before contacting you. You don’t want a situation where those negative words would appear when those searches are made.
Even though the word used by client is inappropriate, try not to elaborate on it. Try not to make it stick with your name. Most internet readers don’t have time to read. They just scan through keys words, do some mental paraphrasing and draw conclusions.
Guess what they will see? Your name and the inappropriate word. Without giving much time to the context, they draw conclusions and move on. That is how an average internet user reads and unfortunately, that is how the internet works. I am not even talking about customers reviews here, but more like a digital DNA, the blueprint of all you do online.

My biggest job this year was sm1 doing a Google search for a keyword (Estimate) he came across my articles and some good reviews.

Then he started looking for how to contact me, that led him to NL and he had to join NL to get my contact..

If only people knew the calibre of people that visit some of this sites like nairaland etc... not just individuals, foreign government and agencies.


I have personally hired someone from this platform just from their comment and reasoning.

And I know many others that have done the same..

So, please let's soji ourselves, honesty in business dealings, communication communication with your client/suppliers, go a long way . Some times it is not what was said but how it is said.

Don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand, verify from your client/supplier to make sure you both are on the same page.

Don't expect to make all our lifetime profit in one business deal which would cause you to be dishonest.

This might be a faceless forum, but is it really faceless?? Some people no dey gree ooo.. head must roll, then is it worth it then??

Please try and place peace of mind before money.. nothing like having a peaceful mind.

Keep in mind, bad business dealing might not end with the bad actor.. some victims of the bad business take out the family members as well.. so think about that for a minute.. this happens, we have heard about it, seen it, watched it in movies.
