The former Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, has been accused by Tony Okocha, the ousted Caretaker Committee Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, of plotting to take over the party in the state and challenge President Bola Tinubu in 2027. Okocha, however, has vowed never to let Amaechi and his alleged stooge, Emeka Beke, have their way against Tinubu.

In response to the August 15 court ruling that dismissed his committee, he addressed reporters in Abuja.

Obviously the political space of the state is about experiencing another conflagration, and the one currently raging as a result of the feud between Fubara and Wike is not yet quenched.

This is a very pathetic propaganda from loosers trying to curry favour from presidency. Wike thinks he is the only one that knows how to play spoiler. Fubara is beating him to his game.

I saw a video where Emeka Bekee told the House of Assembly members that defected to APC to come for an APC meeting.

I laughed out highly while in a public transport. He said wether they like it or not they are APC members, as they were seen with APC flags on video declaring to stand on Tinubu's mandate.
He insisted they must stand on that mandate.
Fubara really learnt well from Tinubu.
