It’s a weird conservative practice whereby parents (mostly dads) encourage their daughters to be virgins until marriage. nothing wrong with that if that’s what the girls want. But what makes it weird is that they then turn around and encourage the boys to sleep around. Which then creates this brain dead dynamic where premarital sex is taboo but also….not? Depending on who does it. Like it’s cool for men and shameful for women.
