Guys please i need your help. I booked an air france ticket from Manchester Airport to Nigeria and stop over will be in Paris. Do I need a transit visa because i got a mail and it is confusing. I will not be leaving the airport or anything i will just connect my flight to Nigeria from Paris. Is there anyone that had same issue in recent time.

If you need a transit visa it will be a EU visa which must be indicated in the course of booking a ticket which will enable you go to town in Paris

But since it wasn't indicated you will have to stay at the airport for the layover and wait for your connecting flight

If you are traveling with a Nigerian passport, then you will need a transit visa to pass through any of the EU member states to change your flight, but you may be exempt if you have any of the following:

- You have a valid Schengen visa.
- You have a residency permit issued by Andorra, Canada, Japan, or the USA.
- You have a visa issued by Canada, Japan, or the USA.
